Ok ai dah selamat nonton.
This movie is a slight reboot fm the Mummy movie franchise, and part of the Dark Universe world. So bila nonton, its best not to compare with Brendan Fraser version.
Storyline and plot not so good, and i view it as abit messy. Introducing character Dr. Henry Jekyll, agak kelam kabut. Too fast moving from Eygpt to London, dah macam fast & furious. But thankfully this movie is quite the thrilling type, banyak adegan terperanjat, good CGI & sound effects which that is the exciting part.
The princess mummy, acted by Sofia Boutella deserve a credit. Very nice potrayed. Ai sedih nak komen pasal Tom Cruise, memang bnyk condemn he really doesnt suit into this type of character. Tapi to ai, okla just accept & move on. Overall nonton with an open mind & not to expect too much.
As usual kalau dah cerita mummy, memang lah bnyk terlari sana & sini.
Ai rate 6.5/10

Ending tom kurus mati.. 
Bkn mati secara harfiah la, tp mati sebagai manusia dan menjelma sebagai set..egypt god.. 
Scene seram plus treeller ok la bg iols, scene funny jah yg hambar jokes teda kesampaian..
Sbb ni muvi 1st dlm universal dark universe, adekah dokter hyde mr jekil bakal muncul dlm setiap muvi lain lps ni mcm invisible man, bride of frankenstein etc?
Rating akak nora bg 3/5..bole la utk dilayan, xde seteruk rebew omputih tu..

Overall boleh le bagi 5/10. Ada part menarik ada part yang expected. Banyak lak zombienya kali ni yang pelik tample knight worrior masa hidup against the princess dah mampus boleh pulak geng dengan princess tu cam berbaling tadah bila dah mampus. Tengok pengakhirannya pasti ada sequel nya nanti. Lakunan Abam Tom macam biasa lebih kurang dalam pilem dia yang sudah2. Harap ni new Top Guns akan lebih better |

mcm nak tgk sbb trailer nampak menarik .... walauponnnn rasa tak perlu je Mummy ni direboot ...
plus Tom Cruise la pulak ....
tp iols smcm ada love hate dgn Tom ni .... selalu kata, bila la pakcik tom ni nak rest .. .cukup2 la dgn Mission Impossible dia tu ... but at the end of the day, I end up watching his movie jugak .... 
so gonna watch this one too .... don't know when but for sure I will .... |

X best lah, ending ntah hapa2... senang2 tomcruise tu jd baik wlupun dewa kematian dah amek alih body dia.

Harap xde la pasal Hyde and Jekyll lagi... sebab I rasa part tu xde kene mengena langsung dalam The Mummy ni. Faham la dorang nak cakap good vs evil sebab dia jadi Set tu, but I rasa x perlu Hyde and Jekyll. Harap harap next movie Dark Universe lagi best

dah tgk dah hari tu. ya ampun memang hauk. hanya mengharapkan aksi-aksi je dr movie ni. dan kecantikan princess amunet.
awal2 movie nampak promising. tp towards the end sangat mengelirukan. mcm byk yg tak terjawab dan berlaku tetiba dlm movie ni. cth, flight dr iraq tetiba dah sampai england (?), pastu senang sangat nak trap princess amunet tu. final fight pun mcm, aik mcm tu je? pastu aku rasa tom cruise terlalu kertu la nk bawak watak hero dlm movie ni. baik kasik kt pelakon lain yg lebih muda skit. kellan lutz ke liam hemsworth ke.

Rasanya watak tu timbul sebab dia tahu si Tom dah kena sumpah dek mummy. So niat utama dia nak jadikan si Tom bahan ujikaji dan sebagai umpan untuk mummy tu datang cari dia katanya. Dia can collector suma benda2 pelik.

ahmanet dah kabo kat tom kurus, mase die nk tikam laki yg die beromen memule mase zaman die dulu, tujuan adelah supaya laki tu dpt power roh dewa kematian/Set akan meresap dlm tubuh laki tu, supaya die/Set boleh control dunia derang..kalu Ahmanet yg tikam, bemakne dia juga ade power..
So dia nk buat mende same pade Tom Kurus..tapi Tom Kurus sacrifice pegi tikam diri sndiri, make die dpt power Dewa Kematian, temasuk power utk bunuh Ahmanet.. selain hidupkan blk gf/kawan die la.. |

Actually cannot just blame Tom Cruise for the failure of this 'Mummy' movie failure to chart the box office. Banyak media is criticising, from selection of actor till production matters.
As per what ai read, the proposal for 'Dark Universe Movie' - Mummy was since 2012. But in between ada masalah produksi. Hanya dalam tahun 2015, Tom Cruise sendiri yang berminat as part of the main cast. Dan seterusnya till 2016, dorang start shooting. And release this year June 2017.
Universal Studio pon taknak rugi buat film baru, as you can see tahun 2017 onwards till akan datang banyak filem best2 nak kluar. Mungkin nih antara faktor yg menyebabkan filem 'Mummy' nih agak kelam kabut & messy.

Berlakon banyak on drama, now moving up to films.
Dalam 'Mummy' nih she is so unfamiliar, and in the beginning ai pon betul nya takleh relate her character and role. But only towards the end ai can feel abit aja & cam rasa sympathy pulak. Cause tetiba dia cam kehilangan sih Tom Cruise...
