i guessed charisma means something in building a legacy.
think about it, betul la Agul ckp. dead people do have charisma!
they left a legacy...to let people remember them. they did something inforgivable to humankind but yet people keep admiring them. they did something foolish/cowardice but yet people keep talking about them.

however kalo charisma vs chemistry....
chemistry tu wujud kalo ada relation. say, scientists would say einstein is remarkable and not knowing who alberti did/wrote for architecture during roman times.
sherlock holmes would be beneficial to polices/investigator but not particularly to geologists....

just my 2 cents

yep ..good thought especially on the fact that charisma being subjectively related to one knowledge of other notorious beings or the "WHO"S WHO" within their field or vice versa. And also noting the fact that a particular figure might prove to be charismatic to a person but not to the other hmmm..so all in all charismatic is subjective perception of trait? character or personality...like a person may see Nikola Tesla as the genius not Eistein when comes to fundamental physics...

oh by the by on the notion that Sherlock might not be relevant to the geologist well in one of the CANON collections you might stumbled on the bit of information that tells u at some point he did (SH) some basic profiling of british mud soil which was pertinent to the CSI at that time - in knowing the source/ the tracing the source of the soil at the Crime scene from a pair of boots / footprints...of a murderer etc etc

most dictator has some sort of aura - hitler/mussolini, and the list is endless, even serial killers got aura, that is the reason that the they can get victims easily, Ted Bundy is one of them

chemistry can be build. might be good and might be not so good.
as what i elaborated, charisma is something that can attract your eyes,mind..
personality, the way you bring yourself, and the most important is how you clarify the thing..it will show your ability of yourself

charisma is all about confidence ......u fix ur confidence u got ur charismatic traits..
even the moon the stars will gravitate towards u

to have confidence just act like u have one, act AS IF, train hard, notice, observant, aware, KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOIN'

in my opinion, ENERGY is most important for this charismatic trait to be sustained..
so being energetic surely is one of the trait of charismatic person, animated but controlled(due to focus , because knowing what the person wanted...the goal focus)

energetic means full of movement due to high energy, bukan maksud full of potential energy, tersimpan macam lemak di badan tu

Kalau saya sebut 'he is a very energetic teacher' maksudnya dia seorang guru yang aktif. Active is the key word here. It could be mental and eventuate in realities. So by this nature of active movement , u create what we called 'magnetism' something like the power of magnet..the pulling factor.

even u just having an active mind or mental rehearsal, this energetic mind of yours will somehow by known to nature will create magnetism in ur life , so u ask and u will be given..u pull (focus) fortune so u get fortune, u pull misfortune so u get misfortune.

'nice' and 'bad' person can create charisma thru this way of magnetism..it is still about pulling factor.

now u must tell me, what is that about repelling factor u meant?

You can meet someone and they are very neutral, without polarity, they don't pull you, they don't repulse you. it's like they were invisible.

We can sometime feel instant attraction towards certain people. Or repulsion, something off with certain people, there's something you don't like about them eventhough everything may seem externally fine. And it's not about external appearances. Just the vibe you can get from them. So these people seems to be polarized, negatively or positively. You might like them much or you might not like them much.
