Nasim to export Peugeot 408 to New Zealand and Singapore
PETALING JAYA: [url=]Nasim Sdn Bhd[/url], the distributor of Peugeot in Malaysia, will be exporting the Peugeot 408 to New Zealand and Singapore.
“We have also begun to export the 408 to Australia,” said Nasim chief operating officer Datuk [url=]Samson Anand George[/url] in a statement.
Nasim said the 408 has made waves in the European C-segment of the market with over 1,300 units sold in Malaysia since its launch in May 2012.
“In addition, over 1,000 units of the 408, which is assembled at [url=]Naza Automotive Manufacturing[/url] in Gurun, Kedah, have been exported to neighbouring markets in the region such as Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore,” he said.
Nasim Begins Exporting New Peugeot 207 To Thailand
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 23 (Bernama) -- Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Peugeot brand in Malaysia, has begun exporting the recently launched 207 to Thailand.
The 207 was launched in Thailand on Nov 10 by its distributor there, European Motor Cars Co Ltd, and will be featured at the 27th Thailand International Motor Expo from Dec 1 to 12.
In a statement Tuesday, Nasim said it received an initial order of 44 units of the new 207 for the Thai market.
"Delivery of the initial order began early this month and is targeted to be completed by January 2011," it added.
More units of the 207 are expected to be exported to Thailand in 2011 as demand picks up.
Nasim was appointed by Automobiles Peugeot earlier this year to spearhead its expansion plans in Asean by making Malaysia its manufacturing hub for right-hand drive markets in the region.
