The cameraman who was shot dead live on TV had filmed his killer being kicked out of the news station after being sacked two years ago.
Adam Ward, who was killed along with reporter Alison Parker, taped the moment Vester Lee Flanagan was escorted out of the building by police in February 2013.
The killer used to work at the same station as Mr Ward, 27, and Ms Parker, 24.
He was fired after years of poor performance at WDBJ in Moneta, Virginia during which he became aggressive towards colleagues.
Flanagan, 41, had tweeted he was angry at Ward for reporting him to HR when the pair had only worked together once. |
