hi guys...
aku ni kira newbie la kt sini...hmmm..aku stat involve dgn dunia larian ni since 2009...masa tu org tegur aku gain weight..huhu...chubby...aku dh risau, mcm2 org tegur aku..mcm bini sy kt rumah la..gile menyirap dgr...pdhal aku anak dara lg....
sejak tu aku mula nak jump ke dunia diet...tp diet jer xcukup...mesti kene bersukan gak..aku pn start attend aerobic class....lps tu dh lame aku xlari....berthn since lps aku hbs u....aku start lari 2 round pdg stadium = 400mx2 = 800 m shj...lps tu aku stop sbb xcukup stamina....
tiap2 mggu aku pg joging, try increase slow2...2-3-4-5 round non stop....5 round = 2km...
lame2 stamina aku meningkat, lgpn bdn aku rase makin ringan...sblm tu berat aku dlm 57kg mase org dok tegur aku gemuk2...dgn ketinggian 154cm...
lps tu berat aku slow2 turun...mule2 tu rase xsbr jer...kebetulan pulak aku dh register nak naik gng kinabalu may 2010...so aku start training utk naik gunung end of 2009...kdg2 sengal, pg petang aku boleh pg berlari...lps tu naik turun tgga la...
smp la april 2010...aku saje2 nak try masuk fun run sbgai bekalan utk aku naik gunung bulan 5 nnt...aku masuk 4.2km jer mase tu...aku sempat train sungguh2 utk 2 hari jer, pg n ptg...yg bestnya, first time aku masuk, aku dpt medal sbb aku dpt no. 17 from 20...at least bg smgt la utk aku...
aku xplan nak serius pn psl benda ni...may 2010, aku pg pnjt gunung...lps aku turun gng, weight aku jd 51.5kg, before naik 53kg....total perjalanan naik n turun gunung kinabalu lbh kurang 21km...
hjg bulan 5, aku tetibe dpt peluang utk join marathon kt gold coast...tp aku kene masuk 21km punye acara...btw, aku mmg xsgka aku terpilih....dh terpilih, aku terpaksa jgk pg pdhal aku xpernah lari 21km pn before this....dgn training xcukup sbb aku kene pg out station 10 hr...mcm2 mslh aku mase tu...
first time aku bt 21km, timing aku : 03:05:17...bg aku, aku dpt hbskan larian pn dh kire hebat utk first time...lps tu aku terus jd addicted pulak..hujung bulan tu, aku lari kt labuan pulak, dpt invitation sbb company aku sponsor duit..mase tu aku join 8km jer...
lps raya, aku join newton run 12km...then mizuno run, 11km...charity walk kt putrajaya, 5km...last event aku join last year, PBIM = 21km...mase ni aku injured teruk yg btkan aku hmpr2 nak give up...aku xdpt nak complete 100km in 2010 lps aku injured kt pbim hr tu...
start 2011, kwn aku cabar aku utk bt 42km...aku xtau ape aku rase...aku mmg nak try...

tahniah krn anda telah menjadi addicted kpd dunia larian... hehehe.. bagus2.. baik utk kesihatan tuuu...
tahniah juga krn telah berjaya menamatkan larian 21km dgn timing yg agak bagus, walaupun tak cukup training... tp semangat juang anda saya tabik! ;) anda berpotensi utk pegi 42km
nak pegi utk 42km (full marathon)?
sy nasihatkan dulu, jgn sahut cabaran rakan anda itu tanpa sebarang latihan & pengalaman yg cukup..
42km bukan main2 nyer.. anda dah lepas 21km, tak semestinya anda bleh lepas 42km...
cuba buat larian 21km beberapa kali sehingga anda berasa selesa dgn jarak tu, tanpa suffer semasa dan selepas larian...
kemudian anda cuba masuk larian jarak 25km, 30km pula.. cuba selesakan diri dgn jarak2 tu dulu..
3 bln sblm larian 42km anda yg pertama, kerap kan buat latihan LSD(long slow distance) 21km dan seterusnya 30km pada weekend atau bila2 anda free. 2 minggu sblm 42km, slowdown latihan anda kepada 5-10km shj setiap kali, selang sehari...
kemudian, baru lah anda betul2 bersedia utk 42km tuu...
cabaran mmg perlu disahut, tp pikirkan keupayaan diri dulu sblm buat, buat persediaan awal, mental & fizikal...
jgn push diri, listen to your body.. kalu tak bleh, jgn paksa diri..

tumpang skaki...aku pong terjebak kemaruk berlari skrg ni....first event aku join nike run 10.10.10 last year...best plok rasanya bila time finishing tu rasa berderau darah dapat abiskan...sejak tu aku mula join event running yg lelain...so skrg ni aku tengah sibuk training prepair tuk akunyer first Stand Chart half marathon June nanti... bersukan lagi bagus dari melepak mlm2 berparti kat Changkat tu membazir duit hehehe |

hello all,
nak join juga this thread. saya suka running gak tapi ada satu masalah. saya penah putus ligament sbb ski 2 tahun lepas so since then dah takut lari on bitumen. digalakkan no-impact running post accident. lari on eliptical trainer jer. recently ofismates ajak lari so join jeler. i tot dah 2 tahun 'rehatkan' lutut, should be ok no?
7km distance i lari that nite, took me 1 hr running/walking. sesungguhnye lututku terkejut.
so the next week pun same distance, kali nih 7km in 45 minutes! big difference to me. lutut tak byk karenah sbb pakai compression bandage.
skrg nih dah daftar byk larian kat melbourne. sebulan ada satu event. i nak record PB for non-stop running. heheh. setakat nih i registered for 3 events for 4km running event. hehehe start small, then i am definitely looking forward to do 10/11km and half marathon. full marathon tu maybe after i re-assess my knee condition after a half marathon.
nak tanye sket, kasut ape korang pakai skrg? running shoes or x-trainers? any specialties to the absorption materials? i found it hard to buy good shoes sbb maybe i am too analytical when buying one.
i like reebok shoes. skrg pakai DMX Micro, i know kasut tu berzaman dah. tapak pun dah haus but i love the absorption in it. new shoes yg similar to DMX Micro is:

3. Zig Fuel
4. Trail Hosscat
tolong frens...i kinda need a pair of new good shoes at the moment.

I have to pairs....New Balance dan baru beli sepasang semalam...Nike womens Lunarfly+, boleh letak bluetooth pod dalam tapak, sbb guna Nike Sportband tu..
Must have 2 pairs, alternate guna...my Nike yg baru ni...puas hati pakai sbb selesa sangat cushion nya.
Maybe lepas lunyai NB 'esok...akan beli Brooks....skang tengah sale ni..Runners Circle, Kota Damansara jual K-Swiss...tgh sale 30-40% off...
Korang pakai running belt tak? Kita baru je beli....biasalah..tak leh lepas handphone dr tangan...smlm beli di Runners Circle, brand Marathon...boleh muat hp dan kunci dan apa2 yg kecil la. Hari tu lari pakai 'fanny pack' sungguh tak selesa...asyik terlompat2 bila pakai.
Best jugak kedai RC ni...basic running gear bagus.

nike+ kasut ke...atau nike+ apps?.. saya kasut pakai nike+ tapi takde sportband ..so pakai apps runkeeper to track my workouts
next event...Salomon X-Trail 11Sept2011 kat UPM...alamak perut penuh ketupat rendang lagi ni hehehe
