Kat luar MRT station, you all perasan tak banyak surveyors?  Kekadang bingit nak lalu bila diaorang hadang2 orang take part in the questionaire.  Satu kali tu I saksikan ader one Indian lady with a young child pekik and argue with one of them.  

One time my husben was rushing out of the MRT to meet me and daughter for dinner.  He was on the phone calling me and he said macam terperasan yang ader orang ikut dia and say "Scuse me, scuse me..." My husben buat dunno jer but then he heard that guy yell very loud "Oiiiii" Apa saja.

oiiii... oiiii yah oiiii... kita suma gumbira~~~

i oso slalu kena..masa last yr keje orchard, belambak oso. Yang mintak derma lain, yg mintak suvey lain, yg mintak masuk dlm agency dorang pon lain..Mcm takde cara. I learnt sumthg abt them, asalkan jgn make eye contact dgn dorang dah cukup. If u do nanti they hold the eye contact and the next thing is, "Excuse me, ..."

Train delays not related, says SMRT
FOR two consecutive days, commuters rushing to get to work were left frustrated as train services were disrupted along the North-South MRT line.

The delays, which occurred during morning peak hours, affected some 32,000 commuters over the last two days. However, the two incidents were "unrelated", according to train operator SMRT.
.
An SMRT spokesman explained that the delay on Tuesday was due to a "train fault" while yesterday, an oil spill during overnight maintenance work forced trains to slow down to as much as one-sixth of the usual speed.
.
He said that Tuesday's disruption, which affected about 2,000 passengers, was caused by a mechanical fault on a southbound train. The faulty train had to be withdrawn from service at the nearest station to allow passengers to alight and board the next train, thus causing a "slight delay" for the trains behind it.
.
And yesterday, an oil spill was discovered at 6am on the south-bound track at Dhoby Ghaut Station.
.
Said the SMRT spokesman: "It was caused by a locomotive sent out to do maintenance work at night. After the station manager checked and reported the extent of the spill, the operations control centre immediately imposed a speed restriction on trains passing through the affected area, as a safety precaution." At the same time, SMRT staff were activated to clean up the spill, which could only be done between train arrivals.

As a result, the travelling speed of trains between stations was halved to 40kph. Trains also had to enter the stations at 10kph, instead of the usual 60kph.

The spokesman said that the speed restriction was lifted at 8.15am and normal service resumed.

Mr Vincent Teo, whose journey from Sembawang to Raffles Place was delayed by about 45 minutes, criticised the train operator's handling of the situation. Said Mr Teo: "Why weren't the commuters at the station informed of the delay beforehand so that they could avoid boarding the trains?"

Public relations consultant Melvin Yuan felt that SMRT should have informed passengers that the delay would be more than "just a few minutes" and advised them to seek "alternative transport if they were in a rush".

Sempat plak tanya bila u tgh withdraw $$..takde aturan langsung

I pernah kena approach twice dengan agency ni..dorang talent scout..disebabkan da kena approach dua kali i mengalah je and joined...

As for yg derma2 yg bercoupon tu, is it real? Coz kat coupon tu nanti they say ada lucky draw lah apa lah, betul ke tu semua? Coz usually the coupon $2 each kan. I derma je dgn ikhlas; cuma kalau ni memang scam tu hal dorang lah.. Ada sape2 bley kasi komen?

yang print and market the coupons usually is 3rd party, not direct dari charity tu sendiri..
kalo breakdown tak salah aku, tukang jual dapat commission pasal sikit pun 20% dari cost of the coupon.
Kalo $2 dah 40sen dah minus.
Dah tu the owner of the 3rd party yang print and distribute ni takkan tak mau untung kan?
mesti dia letak salary dia paling kurang pun 2k which i think pun terlampau sikit. ni belum campur under table dia makan sana sini..
so dia pun ambik dari duit kopun tu..
plus printing and logistics cost
so ko agak berapa persen je pegi kat charity body tu?
aku rasa maybe $2, cuma berasa sen je pegi kat charity body tu. 20sen kot?

Terang dan bersuluh..barulah aku paham sedikit sebanyak. Timer kaseh dep! Erm, one question..kan ada dorang buat lucky draw kan, duit tu plak untuk sponsor prizes mana plak dorang korek? Takkan makin sikitkan the charity money again? Last2 duit charity tak sampai agaknya

ada lucky draws memang ada sponsors la...  
tapi aku rasa kebanyakkan beli hadiah2 lucky draw menggunakan duit dari akaun charity tu sendiri...
pasal ngan harapan ramai orang akan donate just to win the prizes.
