questions :
1. hows the food like in NZ (price wise)? Can you get it like in UK (GBP3 for a kebab?) are halal food easy to find in NZ (macam kat UK kan bersepah2). i dah check kat zabihah.com, yang ada halal restaurant would be CHC & QUeenstown ajerk.
2. if they have Primark in UK, what is equivalent of it in NZ? anything cheap?
3. souvenirs : cheapest is DNF right? Groceries would be Pak N Save?
4. Shopping outlet is Dress Mart paling ok?
5. The town/city is 'dead' after 5pm?
6. how the parking rate like? mahal tak?
7. what was the label to show if we can eat/dont eat food ? E241 ke?
8. what are the must try/must do? minus the extreme activities...if naik luge & gondola tu ok ker?
?
9. is the salmon aa ntah (yang u get to eat fresh salmon tu) a hit or a miss?
10. must buy : Whittakers, RWC 2011 merchandise, anything else? Manuka honey?...

1. halal food senang nak cari kat tempat yang ramai uni students dari malaysia or other muslim countries. usually around christchurch, dunedin, wellington and auckland banyak tempat makan halal (although susah sikit nak cari sebab tempat2nya terceruk sikit). but now maybe lebih banyak dari tahun 90-an dulu...
5. yes, usually the town is dead after 5pm unless kat pub area. kedai2 lain selalu tutup after 5pm.
6. parking rate dorang not that bad but also depends on the areas you park. ada tempat you boleh park for 30 minutes jer. after that kalau keta still ada kat situ memang kena saman. NZ is very strict with road rules so be aware dengan all the signs and notice they put up.
8. must-do activities for me is always yang extreme because that's what NZ is famous for... also outdoor activities. kalau nak naik luge or gondola tu, ok la for those yang takut nak buat extreme2 tu. you can also pegi tengok glow worm kat waitomo, go for fiord cruise kat milford sound, whale-watching kat kaikoura or fruit-picking...
9. yang salmon tu to boocik memang a miss la sebab boocik tak berapa suka makan benda2 hanyir...
10. errr... yang ni memang boocik fail sebab bab shopping  . maybe beli baju all blacks kut? |

yang milford sound tu we're planning for a cruise, but just not sure whether the rest is up to it... my siblings went like " gosh, mati kutu la kitorang nanti" but i beg to differ.

milford cruise is a must! mmg kene pegi naik cruise tu kalo pegi NZ. tggu promo kat groupon @ bookme.nz utk diskaun. slalu ade promo utk cruise ni. just be aware....
kalo tak silap, utk car seat, wajib rasanya. since NZ ni strict ngn road rules. tp kalo ade kat msia, just bwk je instead of sewa kat sana. |

kalau your 3 y.o. son dah boleh duduk kat seat biasa, tak yah child car seat. just wear the seat belt (kiwis are very strict about seat belt kat tempat duduk belakang, sebab boocik pernah kena sound dengan a local ) tapi to be safe, better beri your son a child car seat... |
