now the phins' record goes totally upside down, from 14-0 in 1972 and towards becoming 0-14 in 2007 |

Saints by 6 on MNF.... but doesn't Saints a very inconsistence team (or am I wrong)?
yes, you're right. that's why it's hard to pick this game, or any other games outside colts, pats, cowboys and packs. anyway, oobi pick saints because falcons don't have good home record. even though saints away record is at par, they still have drew brees under center (he's better than any qbs falcons have right now) and their offense can still explode - their passing offense should be able to exploit atlanta porous pass defense.

for me the only team tht capable of defeating the the pats is colts.
peyton manning is one of the best quarterback. |

hmmm.... didn't know that. i have to revisit my pick for that game, then.
smith's out, backup dilfer is out too. so, backup to backup qb, shaun hill, will play. actually, i rather see hill play than dilfer. yes, we'll most probably lose those games but at least we give him experience and he's still young. if hill played after smith got injured, i think we'd probably be able to secure at least two more wins. anyway, they need to bring another qb next season to compete with smith and to push him.
as for relationship between nolan and smith, it already went south and probably be really hard to repair. nolan and other players, that still good. smith probably have to repair his relationship with his team. by bringing his issues with nolan to the media, he broke unwritten rules of nfl. one way or the other, i think smith still can succeed but he needs to be more vocal, take charge and coaches need to really understand his strength and exploit it (i haven't seen that a lot so far) - three different OCs/offense in three years didn't help either.

so, 49ers will use backup of backup QB for the rest of the season Hmmm...sometimes some changes can improve the team. Last week, when Rivers sprained his ankle during Chargers - Titans game, how I wished he will be out for the rest of the season , so that the backup QB can play |

don't do that. it's never good to wish something bad for others. pray that he'll play better, especially in the playoff and hopefully will take the bolts to the superbowl. wishful thinking? may be! but, anything can happen in the playoff. chargers were a long shot to make it to superbowl in 1994 but they made it, led by stan humphries (the name is not stand out at all ).

attee, wehh!!!
the Packs made it to the playoffs, again, and gained home-field advantage throughout the playoffs but that doesn't mean a whole lot, though. i hope they will go all the way. |

no, right now dallas have home field advantage throughout the playoffs in the nfc. cowboys need to lose two out of their last three games to lose home field advantage and the packs need to win all of them. if their records are identical at the end of the season, dallas have the upper hand because they won head-to-head match up against green bay.

Oobi, SF won last night. Congrats! Nolan seemed impressed with the backup of backup QB.
If Chargers win today, they will clinch the AFL west and they better win against Lions who has 5 straight losing streak. |

thanks. i'm glad they won last night. the game was okay, but it did show that hill should have been in the game long time ago. hopefully, nolan will have open competiton for qb position next year.
