Retaliating against such hate, netizens gathered to show support for Yoon Hoo with the method they know best: trending.
At midnight of June 11, on major search portals – Naver, Daum, and Nate, the terms, “Yoon Hoo,” “Yoon Hoo I Love You,” and “Angel Yoon Hoo” climbed up to the top three spots of real-time search charts with netizens uniting together to give Yoon Hoo their support and love.
Actor Lee Jong Hyuk, who is part of the Dad! Where Are We Going? cast, tweeted, “A Yoon Hoo anti-cafe… To Yoon Hoo, who is like an angel… Cafe owner, don’t appear anywhere near me…Yoon Min Soo, ignore it all.”
The anti-cafe created for Yoon Hoo has been receiving much criticism, eventually bringing the cafe owner to write, “The cafe will be closed on June 17. Anti is just anti. Please refrain from cursing or criticizing.”
