Seingat aku lah, basic rules of landing ni:
1) mesti head wind
2) approach speed mesti laju, jangan dok brake-brake, both hands up, speed ni yang akan bantu flaring nanti.
3) bila less than 5 feet high, baru flare, controlled flare, jgn belasah je, tapi very rapid flaring and gradual. Jangan flare sampai pendulum. i.e. ko kedepan dari glider pulak, mesti control badan ngan glider sama-sama in lateral motion. Nature will bring you down to terra firma naturally. Kaki tu kayuh-kayuh la so that upon touch down ko tak jatuh.
Pilot-pilot yang siap dok control speed dari atas, especially kalau nak spot landing tu, dah kira advance tu, yet masih ada mistake. Aku pernah tengok, mamat ni nak control approach speed, dia terlajak brake, terus stall glider. Badan ke depan, glider kat belakang, stalled (collapse).....gedebuk la. Kalau lima kaki ok, kalau 50....? Haru.....patah sana, patah sini, cuti terbang 3 @ 4 bulan. |

bagus tips ni..mgkn kaki aku tak brape ready sbb tatau nak agak bile aku dah nak approach landing area..kene prektis byk2 nih...bgs tul kalu aku ader glider sendrik..tp aku ader xperiance 1st time solo tail wind sbb org salah bg direction..dier ikut side dier dr bawah..aku patot ke kanan tp dier suh kiri..sbb dr bwh dier belah kiri..aku pon pelik tp aku ikut sbb aku mmg caya je..1st time kan..nasib tak angin tak kuat..jatuh tejelepuk aku..huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh |

sekarang aku pakai dhv 2....dulu start dhv 1..... perbezaan yang ketara. Sekarang bila fly dhv2, rasanya kacang gila waktu fly dhv1 dulu |

Kalau dulu sambil terbang boleh tengok-tengok kat bawah, enjoying the view....sekarang pula, mata sentiasa kena tengok canopy....tersilap sikit...macam-macam boleh jadi, paling common wingtip terlipat... kalau teruk sangat collapse terus sebelah wing..... kalau dhv 1 siap boleh makan nasi lemak bungkus lagi.....kekeke...exaggerate je tu |

.....lagi satu dhv 2 ni, kalau ko tak jaga, senang sangat dia nak frontal collapse....kalau terbang tu, nak kena sentiasa ada tension kat brake line tu...tak boleh lepa....kepala asyik dongak je lah....
