[ftnews] ‘modern farmer’ lee hongki under slipper terror
FTISLAND Lee Hongki takes the stage at Cheongyang Pepper Festival.
The 1st episode of SBS new drama ‘Modern Farmer,’ set to premiere on October 18th, is expected to depict Lee Minki (Lee Hongki)’s pitiful story; from the lead vocalist of a super popular band holding a mic to a rookie farmer holding Chinese cabbage.
After an incident that destroyed his life as a successful singer, Minki ends up singing at farmer’s markets and getting paid with food. But even that pitiful life hit a road block — the name of his former band Excellent Souls.
Excellent Soul is supposed to mean a group of amazing spirits who love rock. With the debut of boy group EXO, however, the band gets accused as fake and attacked by girl fans.
At the Cheongyang Pepper Festival, girl fans show up thinking Excellent Souls were EXO and attack Minki with slippers.
About this, a person involved with ‘Modern Farmer’ says, “there are many youth who want to achieve their dreams but get lost in reality and suffer. But ‘Modern Farmer’ stars, including Minki, will not give into the reality no matter what. By showing their fight and growth, they will give viewers a message of laugh, awe, comfort and encouragement. I hope the story of these passionate stars will add energy to viewers’ daily lives.”
SBS weekend mini series ‘Modern Farmer’ is a human comedy drama about 4 youth who decided to farm as an escape route. Just like organic produce, they will also pain the picture of pure and fresh dreams, love and friendship.

mungkin ada serangga perosak makan kobis depa, lalu depa bakor terus kobis2 yg rosak tu. tetapi tersalah bakor dan terbakor satu kebun bersama farmer-farmernya sekali.

samalah tak kenai sgt group kpop ni becuz my FT oppa sgt flawless and marberless di mata ai. writer drama ni macam nak bergurau senda dengan fandom exo
