I watch the VCDs. Very long story, longer than Winter Sonata. It doesn't make me as teary as when I watch WS though, but, overall it's quite a good drama. Basically the story is about a very strong relationship between siblings and their father. I doubt that the story is about first love.. it comes second, I think.. :hmm:
I've just finished episode 39.. jeng.. jeng.. the moment of truth will be continued to tomorrow.. can't wait, but, I love to save the best for last :ah: |

The popularity of BYJ (33) in Japan is piercing the sky.
The Japanese press compete in special writings in large prints on any contents as long as they are related with BYJ. There came out 2 examples of cases recently which show how much the Japanese fans and press, making him idol calling him 'Yon-sama,' are enthusiastic about BYJ.
First, the comment on the kiss scene with BYJ by talent Yoon Sonha, active in Japan, became the top topic of talks.
Yoon give a 90 minutes lecture on the Korean languate at the Tokyo Ritkyo University on 27. It was a special lecture by her who is the Korean languate lecturer on NHK. During that lecture, in order to draw the interest from the students, Yoon confessed the man she kissed for the first time.
Yoon revealed that "I shot the kiss scene in the MTV drama 'HWRL' in 1999 and my first kiss was with BYJ." This story instantaneously excited the Japanese Isles. On the next day of lecture, 28th, the Japanese press including the Junichi Sports, Daily Sports, etc., have greatly highlighted the kiss between BYJ & Yoon Sonha as the top news on the entertainment section.
Although it was in the drama, it drew the enormous interest because it was BYJ's kiss scene.
It is in the same context with the excitement of Japanese fans when there showed the intense love making scene between BYJ and Jeon Doyeon in the movie 'Scandal-The Love Story of Men & Women in Chosun' which was released in Japan on the late 22nd.
It is also a big topic of talks that the Japanese who were kidnapped by the North Korea have their children study Japanese with BYJ's drama.
Currently in Japan, it is news that Prime Minister, Koizumi Junichiro visited North Korea and came back with the families of the kidnapped victims by North Korea who stayed in North Korea.They broadcast on the returned families of victims as the top news daily.
One of those, Mr. Hasike Gaoru, had offered a new news. The Yomiuri Newspaper reported that Mr. Hasike started educating Japanese by purchasing the video of the 'WLS' and its dialogue book on the 25th to teach his son and daughter who were born in North Korea so that they could not learn the Japanese very well.
Although it is an ordinary story at first glance to feel strange for it to be reported on the newspaper, it was highlighted because it was related to BYJ.
