milah, aku rasa ko nih jenis suka bercakap banyak dan suka merapu kan.... aku bet ko nih anak bongsu.... orang macam ko nih memang sesuai laaa bidang marketing nih, suka make-up2, jumpa ngan org ramai, pakai seksi-seksi, social, party, presentation.... tu bakat semula jadi maaaaa, mahmood abas tak marah....
apa2 pong ko mintaklah pendapat paklah duda ko tuh.....

opis aku lagi busaaaaaaannn... boss yg aku report dah kerepot tp berlagak cam dia je betoi... selalu underestimate staff....

senior aku perasan pandai gak... time cuti mesti call soh balik opis buat kijer bodoh... dia x nak belajar buat....

Hi Melah...

i penah rasa ape yg u rasa sekrang.. samalaa amik accounting then dapat pulak masuk big 4audit firm... gatal apply awal awal lepas abis blaja... bila dah masuk, baru i realise i ni bukan minat sgt ngan account... cam lawyer pulak.. kena ikut accounting standards.. accounting standards pulak ayat ayat die memang macam legal words... baru keje 6 bulan, dah terpikir nak berenti tapi my parents suruh stay... kata susah dapat keje.. sama jugak cam u... i rasa guilty nak resign sinch my parents nampak bangga je bila citer kat sedara mara yg anak dia ni accountant,, tgh amik professional qualification nak jadik chartered accountant.. 3 years i tahan... tapi memang tak tahan sebenarnye.. tahap depression jugak... time keje.. i lebih suka jumpe client.. and understand their business dari nak check numbers in the accounts... masa study for acca, boleh nangis lagi sebab depress, thinking why am i doing this?... cukup 3 tahun... dah dapat professional qualification (yg diidam idamkan parents i, i rasa laa) baru i memberani kan diri.. resign, without a job... reason, i nak time to relax after the years of doing things i don't like but have no guts to leave..

so.. right after my resignation, i cari kerja yg i minat, which is investments.. suits me well cos i like the undertainties of the markets and analysing companies operations, not just numbers saja laa kan..

so, i suggest, since u r the type of person who likes to meet people, i believe u r the outgoing type, since u have accounting background, why not apply job in investment banking, but doing marketing or sales, i.e. promoting bonds issuance (i.e. debt capital market memang banyak berjalan, jumpe potential clients, attends investors briefings, and calling calling in the office... this way, ur salaries will not start at the bottom,,, given the relevant experience u hav

Investment banking jobs in Malaysia is not that exciting TBH. The Malaysia's market is a bit undeveloped, not matured anough i would say. It's not helping that the regulations that are in place just..well...plain sucks.
