kalau betul2 kira, aku rasa airport kat Malaysia ni banyak yang kena tutup tapi gomen maintain out of necessity. Some maybe even for political reason.

Tapi memang mengada2lah Kulim pun nak buat airport ni....

Kuantan tu terminal baru. Uols patut tengok terminal lama dia lagi hazab, macam terminal lama Bintulu gitu.

malangnya Kuantan (and Langkawi) dapat terminal baru sebelum KLIA. Bintulu pula dapat terminal baru selepas KLIA. Jadilah seperti bumi dengan langit bezanya....

setuju Malaya tak perlu terlalu banyak airport. Tapi kalau nak maintain private tu terserah.

namun Subang is probably an exception.

Kalau ia boleh maintain flight traffic, we should let it live. Anyway, it's quite normal for big cities to have a secondary airport mcm Don Meuang, Gatwick, Orly etc.

Sunway lagoon tu quite besar jugaklah. Kalau buat premium outlet macam JPO pun ok jugak, sure ramai org boleh dtg esp rombongan nak ke Langkawi tu boleh dropby lagi shopping situ...Alor Star pun tu patut refurbish, cat balik bangunan kedai lama-lama kasi cantik buat macam kat Melaka...sayang betul kota lama tak jaga

private jet memang guna subang airport tak silap akak selain daripada flight kecil like fokker, ATR memang kena operate dari subang.

tak pasti airport kat borneo, namun domestik semenangjung standard RM9 aiport tax nya sis.

Dah brp lama tak pi alor star? Skrg ni penempatan baru banyak di buat esp bahagian nak ke utara..ie jln gunung.... Jalan menghala ke mergong.Bandar.Alor star katanya nak maintain dan diperelokkan...pekan rabu pun dah mula di renovate ...kaw kubang pasu  dah start nak dikembangkan sampai kuala nerang....jalan baru banyak dibuat ...rasa sedih ada...rasa seronok pun ada..sbb kalau boleh still nak aman mcm dulu tp kena face the facft that the world does not revolve on what you want alone.

mcm tak perlu je airport ni.

dah la tanah dh byk jadi projek pembangunan yg hasilnya masuk ke poket somebody..
kesian tgk rakyat marhaen yg mana tanahnya dia ambil.
tapi byran tak setimpal.
nak cari tanah baru bkn senang..mahal2 belaka..

Takpe la tak international pun, yg penting terbang international.
Derang dah beli tanah sekitar tuh, nnti bila dah stat pembinaan derang akan katup jalan ke aper & buat lencongan camne ntah. Lupa dah apa yg abah ckp hari tuh. Tp ada la famili kitorang yg dpt byk siot duit jual rumah & tanah derang, goyang kaki sampai mati. Dahla sorang2 kaki meniaga, makin la beranak pinak duit tuh.


Pembesaran Lapangan Terbang Sultan Ismail Petra dalam perancangan

KUALA LUMPUR: Kerajaan mempunyai perancangan untuk membesarkan Lapangan Terbang Ismail Petra (LTSIP) di Kota Bharu bagi menampung bilangan penumpang yang semakin meningkat.

Timbalan Menteri Pengangkutan Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi berkata projek melibatkan anggaran kos RM172 juta itu antara yang dipohon untuk Rancangan Malaysia Ke-11 (RMK11).

"Sebagai antara lapangan terbang tersibuk di negara ini, kementerian mengumumkan satu projek dalam RMK11 untuk membesarkan lapangan terbang ini bagi menampung penumpang yang dijangka mencecah 2.5 juta setahun," katanya menjawab soalan Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub (BN-Machang) semasa sesi soal jawab di Dewan Rakyat.

Menurutnya, projek itu meliputi cadangan pembesaran terminal LTSIP yang kini mengendalikan 1.5 juta penumpang setahun.

Kepada soalan asal Ahmad Jazlan, Abdul Aziz berkata kerajaan setakat ini tidak mempunyai rancangan untuk menjadikan LTSIP sebagai lapangan terbang antarabangsa.

Bagaimanapun, beliau berkata lapangan terbang itu berkemampuan menampung keperluan untuk penerbangan antarabangsa sekiranya terdapat permintaan daripada syarikat penerbangan.

Menurutnya, tiada keperluan untuk memanjangkan landasan LTSIP.

Transport Ministry: Plans to expand Kota Bharu Airport in the works

KUALA LUMPUR: The Government has plans to expand the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport (LTSIP) in Kota Bharu to accommodate the increasing number of passengers using the facility.
Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi said the project, involving estimated costs of RM172mil, was among the applications under the 11th Malaysia Plan (11MP).
"As one of the busiest airports in the country, the Ministry announced a project under the 11MP to enlarge this airport to accommodate more passengers, expected to reach 2.5 million annually," he said when replying to a supplementary question from Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub (BN-Machang) during the question-and-answer session at the Dewan Rakyat here Tuesday.
He said the project comprised a proposal to expand the current airport terminal, which was handling 1.5 million passengers annually.
Replying to Ahmad Jazlan's original question, the Deputy Minister said up to now, the Government did not have any plan to make LTSIP an international airport.
However, he said the airport had the capacity to accommodate international flights' needs if airline companies requested it. "At present, there was no need to lengthen the LTSIP runway", he said.

hari itu dengar tok pa bilang nak jadikan tok bali sebagai pusat sokongan off shore ala kemaman.
akak setuju jah lagi pun sekarang ini pun mereka tengah buat ala dermaga or something untuk angkut biji besi.
sekarang kapal china docking kat tengah laut then ada kapal pengangkut dari tok bali yg punggah ke kapal itu.

Tanah Melayu kalo boleh cukup ja setiap negeri 1 dan negeri yang ada airport international biarlah sebahagian..Johor,Selangor (KLIA),KB,Penang..yang lain2 tu setarap dalam negeri ja...Tanah Melayu ni bukannya besar mcm borneo...sepatutnya sistem pengakutan keretapi laju perlu diberi keutamaan...borneo tu kena byk lapangan terbang antarabangsa

Oh, ye ke? Dah lama tak pegi area2 Tok Bali, dulu2 rajin la gak pollow ummi & nenek.
Hari tuh tgk kwn dr KL gi jln2 situ dok resort Tok Bali, pegi pantai, mkn ikan bakar, seafood semer, jeles plak. Sbb diri sendiri pun dah lama tak jejak situ.

projek ni, saya tak pasti.

tp byk projek jln, mcm tu la.byran tak seberapa.
ada owner tanah nak bagi semua tanah dia (padahal yg perlu sikit je).
ada plk yg tak nak serah tanah.mcm2 pe'el.
