'Surely you won't litter in your home!' A STOMPer, who prefers to be known as Mr E, was taking the South-bound train heading towards City Hall on  22 Feb at around 6pm when he spotted these inconsiderate commuters eating and discarding their litter thoughtlessly in the train. The young man, clad in a bright blue top and jeans,was blatantly munching on his snacks, obviously unconcerned that he was flouting the No Eating rule and could be fined for consuming food on the train. "After the train left Somerset, his friend got a seat as well, and both of them started munching away! Don't these youngsters have a sense of shame?" he said. And, as if their inconsiderate act of eating on the train was not enough, the boys threw the plastic wrapping underneath the seats and continued to munch on their other snacks. This "uncivilised" behaviour led Edwin to question, "Don't they know this is not their home? I believe they don't litter in their own home as well!"

masuk je Put dah pegang kat pole dekat2 pintu psl dah tkde pole nk pegang.....pastu masuk si mamat cina nie ngan hp dia bebual cam nk karaoke....masuk dah tu block2 pole tu.....siot jer....dahlah Put pon naik boring stare kat dia.....tau pulak buang muka ke pintu...  pastu bukn tu je siap nk langgar2 org pulak.....step betul!!  pastu i let go my hand and turn my body and face the other side then dpt hold on the handrail lah.....

SMRT SIASAT KEBOCORAN KLIP VIDEO KEMALANGAN

SYARIKAT Singapore MRT (SMRT) kini giat menjalankan siasatan ke atas kebocoran klip video dua kemalangan berasingan di dua stesennya, yang kini disebarkan menerusi Internet.

Kedua-dua klip video itu menayangkan saat-saat penuh gerun apabila dua lelaki tiba-tiba terjun dari platform ke landasan ketika kereta api MRT menghampiri stesen.

Klip-klip tersebut didapati di laman web popular YouTube dan Metacafe.

Seorang jurucakap SMRT kelmarin mengesahkan kepada media bahawa kedua-dua klip merupakan salinan rakaman kamera litar tertutup (CCTV) yang diambil ketika kejadian berlaku.

Kedua-dua kemalangan yang melibatkan dua lelaki itu berlaku di Stesen Yishun dan Stesen Admiralty Disember lalu.

Jurucakap SMRT kelmarin berkata bahawa siasatan kini giat dijalankan bagi pihaknya mengenal pasti bagaimana rakaman kejadian itu disalin dan diedarkan kepada orang ramai.

'Sesiapa yang didapati bertanggungjawab akan dikenakan tindakan disiplin sewajarnya,' kata beliau.

Namun, SMRT juga akan memastikan perbuatan menya lin rakaman sedemikian tidak berulang.
'Di peringkat SMRT, kami sedang menyemak proses kami bagi memastikan segala arahan dan prosedur dipatuhi bagi mengawal pemerolehan bahan sedemikian,' tegas jurucakap itu.

Klip video pertama selama 40 saat mula muncul di Internet awal bulan ini. Ia menunjukkan seorang lelaki dilanggar kereta api MRT di Stesen Yishun dalam kejadian pada 5 Disember lalu.

Klip video kedua selama 18 saat, yang muncul di Internet selang beberapa hari kemudian, pula menunjukkan seorang lelaki dilanggar kereta api MRT di Stesen Admiralty pada 2 Disember lalu.

SMRT kini bekerja rapat dengan polis dan Penguasa Pengangkutan Darat (LTA) bagi menyiasat bagaimana klip tersebut disebarkan secara dalam talian.

Jurucakap SMRT juga menasihatkan orang ramai supaya tidak mengedarkan klip-klip vi deo itu kerana ia merupakan salinan haram dan lagipun rakaman itu menggerunkan.

aku search tak jumpa.. siapa dah tengok?.....

Gone, all gone. If you see, the videos and the posts, pretty much anything on the videos has been removed. By me. Voluntarily. You see, I received a call from Ang Mo Kio Police HQ today. They asked me down for questioning, on the videos. I don't wanne get into anymore trouble, so I shall not say anything about the case, but rather on what I feel now.

The investigation officer was right. He said I didn't spare a thought for the family of those who jumped, and he's right. I really didn't at that point of time. It was immaturity, it was shortsightedness, whatever you call it. I did wrong this time and I admit it, I realise it, and I regret it.

This is the first time I'm getting into trouble with the law, and it doesn't fell good at all. It doesn't make it better that I am screwing myself up. At this age, if I get into any trouble with the law, I'm pretty much done for. If I am going to get into jail because of this, I'd rather die, seriously. Sigh.

And I'm getting into trouble not for rioting, nor battery, nor stealing, nor anything of what you will say 'conventional crimes'. It's blogging, and it's got me into trouble. *****. I know some people will think I am stupid for re-uploading the videos in the first place, and I totally agree with you. No charges are pressed against me, yet, but who knows?

Let me just pray (no idea to what) for the best.

I really don't know what to say la. I feel really upset now. I didn't want to do anything to harm anyone, but the irony is, I am harming myself.

Let passengers exit first, please! 20-year-old undergraduate Ms Ng is disgusted by commuters who crowd themselves around the exits of the train even before the door opens, thus preventing  those on board from making their way out. She had taken these pictures on 22 Feb and surmises that the other commuters on board were bothered by this as well as they had disgusted expressions on their faces. "I hope to raise the awareness on the need to have basic courtesy. I have been tolerating this behaviour for quite a long time already and it was then that I decided to snap a picture." she espouses in an email to STOMP. As for those who deliberately "plant themselves in front of the exits", Miss Ng only has this to say about them: "They are probably afraid that they may not be able to get onto the train, which is a very unlikely thing to happen!"
