BTW, kak gule.......... tadi kata bebudak tu ada crite pasal mansion tu berantu... pe storynye... tell me... tell me... tetetetetell me~

Megan & Allison 1 bilik, mak Allison bilik lain.  Tapi since ada hantu kan mansion tu mak Allison pun tido dgn depa

Ada sekali tu Megan & Allison citer2 pasal kawan dia Phyllis.  Tau2 Alexis masuk bilik and terus tanya, nama hantu tu Phyllis ke.  So now nama tu stuck; they call the ghost Phyllis.

Korang pi ler carik confession Megan & Anoop and Allison.  Depa ada citer.

Megan berus gigi kat bilik air then dia tengok luar tingkap, nampak pompuan macam melayang kat atas bumbung.

This woman is a train wreck.  One of the worst in a Top 10 of AI history. Tak pandai interpret & deliver lagu.

Megan Joy
Song: Bob Marley’s (via Lauryn Hill) “Turn Your Lights Down Low”
Grade: C+

Somewhere along the wayside, from Hollywoodland to the semi-finals to the Top 12, Megan morphed from the endearing ‘quirky’ girl of the season to full-blown Idol menace.  What profound incompetence she displayed in song choice, and utter dismay in its execution.  If you’ll pardon the cliche, here was her opportunity to really shine. In lieu of choosing a song befitting of her eccentricity, like say, Duffy’s exhilarating “Mercy”,  she continued her recent inclination at barking at airplanes, droning on and on like a Lauryn Hill CD melting in the sun. While I was filled with glee at an audience member’s shouting at Kara that she was a copycat of Simon (she responded, “…you get up here and do it!”  No problem, Kara, I’ll do if for 1/1,000,000th of your salary and I’m sure I’ll still make more sense) and felt a tinge of sympathy as the judges’ pulling a Rhianna on her ass by relentlessly beating on her even as the music played them off, all I was doing was missing Jesse Langseth. - americanidolreportcard.com

I don't hate him like some people.  I think he's a nice man.

Scott MacIntyre
Song: Billy Joel’s “Just The Way You Are”
Grade: B

Despite Scott’s abysmal vocal chops, the one consistency - more than any other Idol who shares that stage - is his absolute, unrelenting joy of music.  You can see it in his sightless eyes, and even when he’s croaking like a tadpole stoned on moonshine rye, there’s a passion that emanates from him that’s undeniable. During the pre-show footage of the Idols’ visit to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Scott intoned that this week’s theme was “the week we’ve been waiting for”, and I can understand why.  While I won’t partake in the over-the-top hosannas bestowed upon him, I will say that I do agree it was his finest performance.  While most of his vocals were awful, I upped a grade for being the smartest Idol of the night by flying solo on piano, sans band.

Sorry la Matt G fans.  Memang tak sedap minggu ni. Kalau nak nyanyi lagu the fray pun, nyanyi lah lagu intro citer mc steamy kat astro tuh, mcm org ni cakap.

Matt Giraud
Song: The Fray’s “You Found Me”
Grade: C-

While he should be credited for embracing the theme, Giraurd’s journey to the bottom three is almost assured. Abdicating all common sense insight, he covers a less familiar Fray (a more relevant choice would have been “How To Save A Life”, a track most people have heard, whether they knew who the artist was or not)  in a jam that was so ostentatious and disharmonious that his surprised reaction at the judge’s negativity was a curiosity; was he proud of such vocal abandon?

Aik, C jugak?

Danny Gokey
Song: Rascall Flatt’s “What Hurts The Most”
Grade: C+

I’ve been hard on Gokey from the get go, from his early-on dead-wife pimpin’, to his vocal goriness, to his pomposity.  He’s been the gift that keeps on giving.  But, the one time he could have used the sympathy card (tonight), he didn’t.  Instead, the judges utilized Gokey’s loss (his grandfather died this week) to negate last week’s drubbing by overpraising his gaspy take on “What Hurts The Most” by the most gruesome, brain-atrophying Country band of the past 2 decades.  What started off shockingly restrained and calculatedly heartfelt, 25 seconds in he loses his breath, tries to catch it, loses it again 5 seconds later, and releases his usual gargling croak, with stomach-churning consequences. Too bad it was my stomach.

Frat boys? Me thinks he's now being overwhelmed by the competition.

Anoop Desai
Song: Usher’s “Caught Up”
Grade: C-

Kara said something akin to Anoop’s “Caught Up” being like a dare hedged by his frat boy friends, and I concur (especially when the camera panned his actual friends, and that’s exactly what you saw) - not only did his inept grooves negate any significance he was aiming for, but he looked ridiculous  (and desperate) at the effort.  Affected vocals that morph from tunelessness to shredded wheat, his stupid sneering, his challenge at playfulness…you can’t help but laugh at the absurdity of his actual serious declaration that an R&B singer is what he wanted to be. Yes, he said that out loud.  But his worst sin? His intrinsic belief that he’s better than he actually is, and is always willing to tell us.  Arrogant prick..

The last of the Cs. Minah ni pun over-rated.

Lil Rounds
Song:  Celine Dion’s “I Surrender”
Grade: C+

After last week’s criticism of song choice, Lil let’s us know that “…after careful consideration I chose Celine Dion’s “I Surrender”.  One wonders if Rounds’ train of thought comes equipped with a caboose.   Her restriction is a vocal range utilized for any genre other than what she thinks she can do, which despite the incessant appraisal of the judges, isn’t much of a range at all.  &#160assionless, she displayed the personality of drywall, while wobbling her way to a discordant finale (so, ten minutes ago, Simon accuses Allison of “shouting” but says nothing to Lil?). Sick of hearing that Rounds possesses “unbelievable vocal skill”, I’m even more nauseated at Randy and Kara’s almost weekly inclination to waylay her with the Mary J. Blige lapel.  I don’t know Mary J. Blige, but I’ve met Mary J. Blige, and of course I’ve heard Mary J. Blige.  Lil Rounds is no Mary J. Blige.  Shit, she isn’t even Syesha Mercado.

Troll girl review

Allison Iraheta
Song: No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak”
Grade: A-

Let’s get this out of the way first - Allison imbued more passion into “Don’t Speak” than Gwen Stefani’s Betty Boop porn tics, and Stefani wrote the song.  Not one who enjoys espousing the same platitudes of KRaPS, I have to say that this 16 year old not only has the vocal chops of a woman twice her age, but also seemingly the almost-unnatural comprehension of what she’s singing.  What better compliment to Iraheta than to say that she made a song I initially loathed into an MP3 I’ll download in the morning?

But if you tuned in after her performance, you would have thought you were viewing “Project Runway”, for 98% of the critique focused on Iraheta’s attire, once again negating a blazing incantation.  First, a less-than impressed judgment call on a rousing “Blame It On My Heart” on Opry night.  Motown night watched Simon forgo much-deserved acclamation for “Papa Was A Rolling Stone” for a doodle date with Paula’s face.  Now, an unjustifiable proclamation that her wardrobe was a distraction, and that she shouted the song.

I understand, KRaPS, that Simon told Jay Leno that he thought the Top 3 would be Adam, Danny and Lil Rounds.  But, if any one of you really believe this, then stop trying to convince and sway America into your groupthink mentality.  Call it as you really see it, not as you wish it to be.  And, Simon, particularly you - stop trying to sabotage the true dark-horse of the competition.

Mr Elvis.   Tiap2 minggu rambut mcm ni pun tak apa. Cuma kurangkan ketebalannya. Not a fan of his high notes. But love the psychedelic looks.

Adam Lambert
Song: Wild Cherry’s “Play That Funky Music”
Grade: B+

Too often showcasing a rock star guise without the innate soul to pull it off, Lambert last week utilized an emotional, if vulnerable, stance that took him to a new level of relevance. This weak, the Hair Metal histrionics are back, but rather than dwell in the dire, tear your reservations down, allow your insecurities to dissipate, disallow any preconceived notions to run amok and it’s almost guaranteed that, at the very least, you’ll enjoy the ride from the only Idol in history who - love him or loathe him - personifies “consummate performer”.

My sweetheart Kris. Soothing to hear. Tak kisah lah kalau org kata dia boring.

Kris Allen
Song: Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine”
Grade: A

With a haunting, brooding lilt, Allen’s control over the lyrical flow of Withers’ classic, adjacent to  the bending of the melody, proved that, given the precise tune, he could be peerless on the Idol stage.   Like watching a magician peform his most breathless act, this was Allen’s most focused yet, exhibiting a mystery juxtaposed with a yearning and a desire.
