Children Of Men was criminally snubbed. end of story.
mungkin sebab filem ni release lambat sangat(akhir disember), dan kurang 'lobi' pulak tu.
filem ni tercalon utk 3 anugerah Oscar(cinematography, editing, dan adapted screenplay).
sungguh pelik tak menang utk sekurang2nya Best Cinematography.

yeap...Children of Men antara filem terbaik untuk tahun lepas bagi aku...
cinematography work antara yang tercantik pernah aku tengok dlm filem sejak 7 tahun lepas...stail yg mengingatkan aku kepada Janusz Kaminski dlm Saving Private Ryan..
my vote go for Children of Men menang Best Cinematography ...tapi kalah ngan pan's labyrinth..ape bleh baut...but then emmanuel lubezki mmg dah termasuk dlm list "Favorite Cinematographer/DOP" aku... |

ingat lagi aku ngan filem KES ni. tgk masa zaman sekolah dulu2........sedih la filem ni......very depressing i must say........part burung dier kena bunuh tu memang sedih.....dan part budak tu main bola sambil pakai baju abang dier kalau tak silap (sbb baju tu menggelebeh jer besar)....lawak n at the same time kesian tgk dier........really love to watch it again sometimes....cuma belum terjumpa DVD nya... |

cite pasal palestin aku lupe la ape tajuk die aku ngk mase skola rendah yg ending dia makcik tu letupkan bom dalam ketapi yg banyak israel lepas famili dia sume kene bunuh.

kenapa pilihan oscar?
skrip yg tajam, complex. sangat entertaining. lakonan mantap. dan martin scorsese.
better than Infernal Affairs IMO. |

Indigenes pasal sekumpulan askar2 French-Algerian(Muslims) yg terlibat dlm perang dunia ke-2 menentang German. first time filem WW2 yg POV-nya dpd orang Muslim. recommended!

In no particular order:
MIRROR MASK by Dave McKean & Neil Gaiman
Citer pasal a girl named Helena yang familynya kerja kat circus termasuk dia, her mom, her dad, and herself; Circus acrobatics. Then she being a rebellious teen cam dah bosan nak kena keja kat circus so she had a little fight with her mom. And then suddenly mak dia jatuh sakit, and well yeah she blames it on herself.
Helena ni, she loves to draw. Artistic girl lah kiranya. Anyways, one night tu, dia duk jalan kat apartment dia tak silap, and saw her circus buddies practicing, then suddenly her apartment keluar these akar hitam, and macam makan the place and when dia terkena one of her circus buddy terus jadik batu, dia terkezut beruk lalu berlari, dan di situ bermulalah alam yang surreal.
Neil Gaiman ni, is fantasy, surreal writer, and Dave Mckean is a surreal artist, so mereka menggabungkan kepakarang mereka and came out with this amazing adventure. Graphic sangat cun. If you're into cerita ala adventure, fantasy, than this is the movie for you. Mungkin slow cikit lahh, but the graphics is just to die for. Oh and citer ni using real people, and alotta gila gempak CG.
*tambah* Oh and the characters she meets in this world is mostly the ones yang dalam hidup dia sebenar cuma characternya jadik agak aneh dan pelik bin ajaib. wuhoho. bes bes bes *tambah abis*

THE IRON GIANT
Animation. About as the title says the IRON GIANT. It's a robot from another planet. Jatuh kat bumi. And this boy jumpa. And jadik member. And dia try sorok, cause the government tengah carik as it caused the keretapi tu terbalik ke apa tah. The government wants to destroy this IRON GIANT. IRON GIANT ni originally is a killing machine, it's an intelligent creation yang mana asal dia nampak je weapon, dia akan protect itself dan transfrom keluar segala macam senjata yang gila hi-tech which is superb. But then IRON GIANT ni baik hati sbenornya, cuma the governmant salah paham, actually this one guy lah yang poyo. Anyways, it's a wonderful story, sangat kelakar, the animation is wonderful, lain dari yang lain, characters sangat best, storyline mantap, and this movie even made me cry.
BEST GILER. Iskk, tulis rebiu ni rasa nak tengok lagik. Huhu. Ho yeah!

PECKER
This one ada Edward Furlong, Christina Ricci (for some reason Anna suka banyak giler citer yang minah ni berlakon). Anyways, Edward Furlong is Pecker in this movie, its a bout this boy yang suka amik gambar of his family and friends yang agak pelik, then dia ada buat exhibition kecik kat tempat dia keje, a diner, then this lady was at the exhib and discover his photos, fell in love and made him famous. And dia buat exhib besar-besaran. And well his fame kinda got to him and affected not only his but his friends and family as well. Some nice songs in it too! And I love the photos taken. Of course in real, by another photographer. Saksikan!
