kalau kat malaysia open...
aku lebih rela tengok datuk lcw kalah secara adil berbanding dia menang secara penipuan...
bagi aku, sukan sepatutnya diadili secara telus, adil dan saksama dengan semangat kesukanan, main tipu adalah perbuatan yang hina... |

Wobbly Hafiz to play in Paris
HAFIZ Hashim, despite his career being in the doldrums and now bugged by injuries, will still compete in the World Championships in Paris next month as no back-up player has managed to qualify for the Paris event.
Hafiz suffered knee and Achilles tendon injuries during the India and Singapore Opens last month and may miss the Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold event in Johor Baru beginning on Tuesday.
World No 1 Lee Chong Wei and Wong Choong Hann are the other players who will see action in Paris while Malaysia's best placed back-up player Chong Wei Feng is only listed as the 21st reserve.
National singles chief coach Rashid Sidek said Hafiz must use the opportunity to produce a decent result in the World Championships.
"He has time to recover from the injuries and the main thing is for him to focus on preparations for the World Championships since he has already qualified," said Rashid.
"We cannot replace him with one of the back-up players as their ranking is very low and there is still a gap between Hafiz and them.
"The other option is to drop both Choong Hann and Hafiz and include a back-up player but it is pointless at the moment as the younger shuttlers must improve."
Hafiz and the back-up shuttlers are under Hendrawan and the former world champion has already started putting more emphasis on the younger group.
Hafiz is not the only player who will be competing in the World Championships merely because of qualification as women's singles Wong Mew Choo and Lydia Cheah have also been below par of late.
BAM has yet to finalise the squad for the World Championships but based on the list of qualifiers, there will be plenty of passengers competing in Paris.
boleh ke si hafiz ni???...... mcm takleh aje.....

Zakry to go on without Fairuz
ZAKRY Latif may get the chance to continue competing on the international scene even if disciplinary action is taken against his partner Fairuzizuan Tazari for his antics during the Thomas Cup Finals in May.
Fairuz faced the BA of Malaysia's (BAM) disciplinary committee on June 18 following which chairman Maijol Mahap made his recommendations and there is a strong possibility the player will be punished for his behaviour during Malaysia's tie against Japan.
Fairuz retaliated to the taunts from several fans and had to be restrained by the coaches, leading to Zakry and him being dropped from the Singapore and Indonesia Opens last month.
BAM secretary Ng Chin Chai said the executive council, which meets tomorrow, should shed light on the matter and also decide on Zakry's future if Fairuz is penalised for his actions.
"Fairuz has already faced the disciplinary committee and the recommendations will be tabled during the Exco meeting.
"However, since Zakry was not involved in any wrongdoing, he should get the opportunity to continue playing with another partner if Fairuz is suspended for a certain period of time," said Chin Chai.
Despite the controversy surrounding Fairuz, Chin Chai said the pair are still in the running to compete in the World Championships in Paris on Aug 23-29.
At the end of the qualification period on May 30, Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong (World No 1), Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah (World No 12), Gan Teik Chai-Tan Bin Shen (World No 14), and Zakry-Fairuz (World No 20) were ranked among the top 24 and BAM has the right to name three pairs.
Should Fairuz escape severe punishment, there is a possibility of Zakry and him being named as the third pair ahead of Teik Chai-Bin Shen.
Zakry-Fairuz secured a bronze medal in the World Championships in Hyderabad last year but their current form has been poor.
