Datuk Noripah Kamso Wins Asset Management CEO of the Year

Kuala Lumpur: Datuk Noripah Kamso, Chief Executive of CIMB-Principal Asset Management Berhad, recently won CEO of the Year for Malaysia in Asia Asset Management’s Best of The Best Country Awards.
Asia Asset Management is a well-respected monthly magazine focusing on institutional fund markets in the Asia Pacific region. Its annual awards recognise top performers in the region’s asset management industry. Its CEO of the Year award recognizes the executive’s overall achievements—in particular by demonstrating leadership in the market that the firm operates in—over a three-year period.
Datuk Noripah said: “We are very pleased with this award from Asia Asset Management, which recognises CIMB-Principal’s achievements over the last two years. We thank our valued investors for their continuous support, which we have rewarded with improved fund performance. This is really a collective victory to be fully shared with all CIMB-Principal employees, its shareholders—CIMB Group and The Principal Financial Group—and our distribution partners.”
Under Datuk Noripah’s leadership, CIMB-Principal has steadily grown its assets under management to reach RM19.2 billion in 2007, making it one of the country’s largest fund managers. The company has also successfully ventured overseas, establishing an international presence in Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei and distinguishing itself as a provider of innovative Islamic asset management products. In addition, funds performance has improved, with some 82% of CIMB-Principal’s peer comparable funds being ranked in the top Quartiles for the one-year period.
Datuk Noripah has also been instrumental in bringing foreign investors and portfolio managers to invest in homegrown funds. Last year, she led a successful institutional and retail investors roadshow in Asia and Western Europe to market and establish distribution channels for the CIMB FTSE ASEAN 40 Exchange Traded Fund, which is listed on the Singapore Exchange(SGX).
Datuk Noripah has previously won Asia Asset Management’s Best of the Best Regional Marketing Personality of the Year, in both 2005 and 2006. |

Terima kasih sbb akak sudi dtg jengah section saya ni.Buat pengetahuan akak,kita bukan dilahirkan semulajadi utk pandai bercakap dgn ramai org.Utk bercakap waktu kita bayi juga kita belajar daripada ibu bapa dan keadaan sekeliling.Begitu juga dgn saya yg dtg dari latar belakang bidang IT,begitu berbeza sekali dgn bidang kerjaya yg saya ceburi sekarang.Tp dgn keazaman yg kuat utk berjaya,saya berjaya belajar dari org2 yg telah berjaya dan saya masih lg dlm proses pembelajaran sbb proses ini tidak akan berhenti.Jadi dgn keazaman akak yg ada dan bantuan dari saya,pihak CIMB sendiri serta yg lain2,insya-Allah akak boleh berjaya.Tiada had umur utk menceburi bidang perunding saham amanah ni.Cikgu2 pencen dan yg dah pangkat atuk nenek pun ada yg join.

The Structure and the COMMISSION!!!
Hello...so this entry i'm gonna tell you about the ranking structure when you joining with CIMB Wealth Advisors.
The ranking structure and commission as follows:-
1)Unit Trust Consultant(UTC)-3%
2)Agency Supervisor(AS)-3.75%
3)Agency Manager(AM)-4%
4)Group Agency Manager(GAM)-4.25%
When you pass ur exam,we call u as a "new rising star" which is UTC.At CIMB Wealth Advisors,we're not just selling the products,but we also want to develop you as a leader.So you have to recruit new people under you in order to qualify to be AS,AM and GAM.
Let's talk about commission.Let say you are a UTC and you bring 100k cash sales,you gonna get RM100,000 x 3% = RM3000 at ONE TIME CLOSE!!!Good or GOOD??
That is for UTC level,what if you are AS,AM or GAM???Of coz you get more commission right???If you have a downline under you,you will get an overiding commission and that is ur passive income!!!So that's why recruitment is very very important!!!
