“FREETHINKERS are those who are willing to use their minds without prejudice and without fearing to understand things that clash with their own customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking.” ―Leo Tolstoy
“A wise man makes his own decisions, an ignorant man follows public opinion” ~Chinese Proverb
“Children should be taught to question everything. To question everything they read, everything they hear.. children should be taught to question authority. Parents never teach children to question authority. Because parents are authority figures themselves and they don’t wanna undermine their own bullshit inside the household. So they stroke the kid and the kid strokes them, and they all stroke each other and they all grow up all kungfued up and then come to shows like this.” -George Carlin (in his final tour, ‘It's Bad For Ya’, 2008)
Albert Einstein - How I See the World
Albert Einstein navigated the twilight turf between consciousness and matter for much of his life. He argued that “Man” suffers from an “optical delusion of consciousness” as he “experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest.” His cure? “The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious,” he said. “It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: His eyes are closed.”
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” -Albert Einstein
“The true value of a human being is determined primarily by the measure and the sense in which he has attained liberation from the self.” -Albert Einstein
10 Lessons from Einstein
1. Follow Your Curiosity
“I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”
2. Perseverance is Priceless
“It’s not that I’m so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”
3. Focus on the Present
“Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.”
sebagaimana yg sy ingat, bukankah, anda dulu seorg yg bergiat aktif dlm OBE, astral projection right.....
nampaknya ia membawa anda sehingga bertindak utk answer utk pihak atheis...dlm thread ni....no wonder...ive benn through that stage...
by the way. s dh tgk video tu, no offend, bila sy tgk video tu, sy dh agaj atheis mmg hidup dlm lingkungan humanism punya idea...
mereke jijik dgn keganasan, dan promote love......
tanpa mereka sedari love juga tidak relevan dr segi logik.....mereka mmg fail dlm bab absolute morality sebab mereka berpandukan love......sehinggalah jika ibu mereka dirogol dibunuh kejam, dikencing dengan air kencing, baru mereka tahu betapa adilnya Tuhan jauh melangkaui angan2 mereka yg ingin menyelesaikan seluruh masalah hanya dgn love.....
sy tak tahan dgn idea mereka, dan sy meletakkan mereka dlm kategori naive....
Human race is a collective mass of various races, each with their own beliefs and custom.
An atheists cannot be considered as a human race because he has no belief which similar to others and do not respect the inviduality and customs of others.

I watched the clip. What the forumer asked and what Richard Dawkins says are two different things.
The forumer asked about the "absolute morality" which is needed by individuals and could require a certain level of (leap of) faith to accomplish while Dawkins stated about religious morality which had been forced down onto its followers. It is two different thing.
"Absolute Morality" could require individuals to make sacrifices and be willing to be law-abiding individuals, follow morale and publicly accepted ethics and work as part of the unit of a society. While atheists could be law-abiding citizens, their sense of morale and ethics is fueled by their desires (such as adultery, homosexuality, greed and such) which all humans have (but outlawed by existence of religion among theists). Therefore, logically speaking, it is NOT possible for an atheist to become completely morale and ethical without him first addressing his own dark nature (which religion often forces its followers to do).
Furthermore, I failed to see why Richard Dawkins only use Islam and Christianity as models for (failure of) morality in the society and not other religions and beliefs like Shintoism (which changed after 1950s in Japan), Buddhism and Hinduism.

“We don't have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the process of change. Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.” -Howard Zinn
Consciousness Drives The Universe
An outstanding video which depicts that consciousness is what drives and shapes everything. This means ultimately everything in the universe, even matter, is consciousness in the most subtle and dense form. This video features Grant Morrisson, David Lynch, David Icke, Gregg Braden, Michael Talbot, David Wilcock, Wayne Dyer, Neil Kramer and Bill Hicks

Thoughts, Emotions, and the power that they bestow upon you. Or rather, how you can empower yourself to live in the moment by controlling your thoughts and emotions, and guiding yourself the way that you want to be guided, rather than allowing modern society to tell you how to feel and what to think.
Just as you create your own reality, we are also co-creating our realities together. We are a collective! As a community, a city, a country, and a species, we decide where we want to go and how we want to flow. It is up to us to decide what happens next in the epic tale that is the human race, but change has to start from an individual level.
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” ―Nikola Tesla

Dlm agama, penganut agama mendakwa Tuhan menentukannya melalui agama.
