Baek Ji Young shows support for MC Mong with tears & words of encouragement
Baek Ji Young relayed words of encouragement for her best friend MC Mong.
The recently transformed Dancing Queen from the Queen of Ballads, singer Baek Ji Young made guest appearance on the May 22nd episode of KBS ‘Win Win’ for an hour of entertaining talk.
Baek Ji Young reminisced about the difficult time she’s faced in the past and teared up. Baek Ji Young stated, “I want the people in difficult situations to be able to get over the hump. Right now I have a friend who really breaks my heart and that’s MC Mong”, and she showed her concern for the embattled rapper.
Baek Ji Young continued, “To be honest, I don’t really want to discuss what or how he did wrong. I always call him and tell him that even I was able to get past the hurdles of my past and that he could do the same. He’s having such a difficult time right now and I want him to get past it.”
Remembering her own tumultuous past Baek Ji Young said her family was her biggest strength in times of difficulty. Baek Ji Young explained how her father reacted when her song ‘I Won’t Love’ ranked #1 coming back to the music scene after 6 long years of absence. She stated, “My father sent me a 3 letter message, ‘Bravo’ (It’s 3 letters in Korean). My father’s like that”, and she showed a proud smile for her father.
