i ada 7 biji Red Delicious Apples yg mcm dah over masak.
last time masak jer apples dgn brown sugar n cinnamon. sedap oooo...
tapi kali ini nak try bende lain.
kasi  idea nak buat ape...sayang sgt nak buang..

apple cake

I ada apple cake yang simple -

Bahan2 -

1 or 2 biji apple hijau/ granny smith - hiris nipis nipis
175 gm butter
175 gram castor sugar
175 gram tepung - can be self raising flour or tepung gandum jer
3 biji telur
1 or 2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 or 2 teaspoon fresh milk

Cara -

cream the butter and sugar macam biasa - then dah creamy add the telur 1 by 1. dah sebati then masukkan tepung, cinnamon powder and the fresh milk. dah.

masukkan separuh of the mixture dalam baking tin. then susun hirisan apple tadi...then cover with the remaining cake mixture.

then bakar macam cake biasa - 180 degrees for about 50 - 60 minutes!

makan cam tu boley..ngan custard sauce boley...ngan vanilla ice cream pun yummy gak!

Hari tu tak tau nak buat apple pie ke atau apple crumble. So last last buat apple crumble pie.



Resipenye

APPLE CRUMBLE

Sweet Shortcrust Pastry

2 cups plain flour
3 tbsp caster sugar
150g cold butter, chopped
2-3 tbsp iced water

Rub flour, butter and sugar with fingers until resembles fine breadcrumbs. You can do this in a food processor. Then add in iced water to form a smooth dough. Knead dough lightly. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 mins.

Roll out dough on lightly floured surface or in between 2 pieces of non-stick baking paper to thickness required and line the tart tin.

Preheat oven to 180C. Place a sheet of non-stick baking paper over pastry and fill with baking weights or uncooked rice/beans. Bake for 10 mins then remove the weights and bake for another 10 mins or until pastry is golden brown.

Spoon in filling and top with the crumble. Bake until crumble turned golden brown.


Apple Filling

8 green apples or enough to fill the tart tin, peeled and chopped
1 tbsp water
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp almond meal

To make the fillings, place apples and water in a pan over medium heat. Cover and simmer, shaking pan occasionally for about 5 mins or until just tender. Drain and cool completely. Stir in lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon.


Crumble Topping

1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp cold unsalted butter, diced
1 2/3 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp organic brown sugar
a handful of toasted sliced almond

Rub butter into the flour with fingers until they resembles breadcrumbs. Fork in the sugar and almonds and set aside for a moment.

Buat apple sauce pun boleh..


apple sauce in leh buat makan  ngan macam2...
can do it as a main course with roasted beef/chicken.
leh jadi desserts...
leh jadi savoury..




ni I ambil dari Allrecipe...


DELICIOUS APPLE SAUCE

INGREDIENTS
2 apples - peeled, cored and shredded
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons brown sugar

DIRECTIONS
Place shredded apples in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Sprinkle with cinnamon, then add water and cook until the apple bits become soft and mushy.
Stir in brown sugar and mix well; if desired, top with ice cream and serve.

Yes! jumpa pun resipi apple crumble kat sini. Sebenarnye mmg cari pun resipi ni  sbb penah pegi umah kwn, dia hidangkan apple crumble. Sedap sgt. Makan ngan custard source. Tanya resepi dia kata order kat orang.

Apple Pie Crumble

Tak tau nak masukkan kat mana resipi ni... dah search pie tapi tak jumpa... amik kat AllRecipes.com... baru try   buat tadik... senang je... tp best...






P/S: kualiti gambar tak memuaskan... pakai camera phone cikai je...

INGREDIENTS

    * 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
    * 5 cups apples - peeled, cored and thinly sliced
    * 1/2 cup white sugar
    * 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    * 1/3 cup white sugar
    * 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    * 6 tablespoons butter

DIRECTIONS

   1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C.) Arrange apple slices in unbaked pie shell. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
   2. Mix 1/3 cup sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Spoon mixture over apples.
   3. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until apples are soft and top is lightly browned.


Untuk dia nye pastry base tuh... buat sendiri... sbb tak tau nk beli kat mana yg ready made punya nih... but tak reti nk budget lak byk mana nk buat... so filling tuh lg tinggi dr pastry... heheh...

nih resipi utk pastry...

100g tepung gandum
garam secubit
50g butter
iced water (about 1 tablespoon)

mix together tepung gandum and salt... potong butter kecik2 (better yg baru kuar dr fridge, lg senang)... rub together butter and flour sampai crumble... then add the iced water to stick it together... and roll...

sorry la, ayat tunggang langgang sket... x reti sgt nk describe...

Apple Pie


BRG2 YG DIPERLUKAN :


- 10-15 biji apple dibuang biji,diracik spt french fries ( tp racik kecil lg )
- 450 g butter @ margarine
- 2 dl sugar
- 3 biji telor
- 4.5 dl flour ( tepung gandum )
- 3 dl rye flour ( kt europe byk, kalu x de leh guna tepung gandum je )
- 3 ts baking powder
- 1 sudu besar vanilla sugar @ kalu x de leh guna 1 ts vanilla essence ( penambah rasa )
- 1 ts serbok kayu manis ( penambah rasa )


CARA2 MEMBUATNYA :


* Pukul butter @ margarine & sugar selama >< 5-10 minit sampai sebati.
* Campurkan telor & pukul lg.
* Campurkan bahan2 ( tepung2,baking powder,vanilla sugar@essence,serbok kayu manis.
* Pukul aduan hingga sebati 5-10 min, then rasa manis x, if x cukup manis, tambah sikit lg gula.
* Ratakan adunan ke loyang pembakar ( cam ratakan nak buat pizza ).
* Taburkan kesemua apple yg diracik tadi ke atas adunan yg telah diratakan, tekan2 sikit (toping)
* Kemudian taburkan sikit serbok kayu manis & gula ( hiasan toping ).
* Bakar dlm ketuhar dgn 200 celcius selama 20 minit.


*** Bagi yg kurang gemar serbok kayu manis bolehlah abaikan aje.

*** Jika x de rye flour leh gunakan tepung gandum( rye ni bijirin cam gandum slalu gn wat wiski )

*** Jika apple besar2 gn 5-6 bijik cukup.

*** ts = tea spoon
     dl = deciliter @ 1/10 liter
