[MERGED]Circumcision

I'm not too sure where I could go to get a circumcision but I'm interested to get it. Anyone has any idea how do you do that? I'm no longer a boy but more like an adult already. So, if anyone at all knows about this, your advice would be very much appericiated.

try asking your family doctor, or any hospital. they should be able to do it for you. adult circumcision is common nowadays. even non-muslims go for it because of the health benefits.

3 most commonly used method in Malaysia are:

1) Sleeve method....practiced by most general surgeon, MA, Tok Mudim and asthetically pleasing but more traumatic and takes longer time to heal

2) Smart Klamp or Tara Klamp method, friendlier method, less blood (few drops only), fast recovery time but end result not as good as sleeve method

3) Laser (only available at certain medical centre).....very minimal trauma, almost painless, very fast recovery rate, result as good as smart klamp but very costly.

For me, I prefer Smart Klamp.....cheap, reliable, minimally invasive and fast recovery.

But if U can afford laser circumcision.....go for it.

bayi baru lahir la ni pun dah sunat awal2... tengok baby story kat discovery channel kat US ni, orang barat pun sunat kan anak depa seawal sehari dua baru lahir... ok juga sunat awal2 senang nak jaga..betul tak doktor.. so saya n suami nak anak kami yg akan lahir tak lama lagi ni sunat masa bayi lah..

saya buat circumcision gak............buat "dorsal slit" jer........lambat skit tapi selamat dari....cantas jer

WASHINGTON - Circumcising adult men may reduce by half their risk of getting the        AIDS virus through heterosexual intercourse, the U.S. government announced Wednesday, as it shut down two studies in Africa testing the link.


The        National Institutes of Health closed the studies in Kenya and Uganda early, when safety monitors took a look at initial results this week and spotted the protection. The studies' uncircumcised men are being offered the chance to undergo the procedure.

The link between male circumcision and        HIV prevention was noted as long ago as the late 1980s. The first major clinical trial, of 3,000 men in South Africa, found last year that circumcision cut the HIV risk by 60 percent.

Still, many AIDS specialists had been awaiting the NIH's results as a final confirmation.

"Male circumcision can lower both an individual's risk of infection, and hopefully the rate of HIV spread through the community," said AIDS expert Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the NIH's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

But it's not perfect protection, Fauci stressed. Men who become circumcised must not quit using condoms nor take other risks
