Strange Creature Found On Russian Coastline Baffles Locals

Sakhalin, Russia (Sep 5, 2006 19:05 EST) This creature was found by Russian soldiers on Sakhalin shoreline. Sakhalin area is situated near to Japan. It抯 the most eastern part of Russia, almost 5,000 miles to East from Moscow.

Locals haven't been able to identify the mysterious beast. According to the bones and teeth - it is not a fish. According to its skeleton - it抯 not a crocodile or alligator. It has a skin with hair or fur.

It has been said that it was taken by Russian special services for in-depth studies, and we are lucky that people who encountered it first made those photos before it was brought away.

Mr. Arturo Calcaneo Zapata has informed Prof. Ana Luisa Cid that the watchmen of a thermoelectrical power station in Altamira, Tamaulipas managed to capture an alleged alien entity on videotape, employing the power plant's security cameras. The likely dates for this incident are variously given as September 25 and 26 of this year. Mr. Calcaneo undertook his own research into the matter and managed to obtain the news item that appeared in the local newspaper "Hoy Extramex" dated September 28, 2005, in which the photographic evidence is shown.

EXTRATERRESTRIALS INVADE ALTAMIRA -- widespread panic has been unleashed in Altamira after a strange creature was videotaped in the section containing the energy-producing turbines of that city's thermoelectric plant, spreading once more the theory that there is an extraterrestrial base in the area, presumably with designs on invading the territory.
There are two major thermoelectric stations in Altamira: Altamira III and IV in agreement with the Federal Electric Commission. At this time the exact location in which the events occurred has not been confirmed. According to Arturo Calcaneo, this newspaper also published a report provided by fishermen who claimed having cast their nets in the open sea and saw, to their astonishment, how they did not sink and remained floating on the water's surface. Frightened, they reached into the water and managed to touch an object that could not be seen with the naked eye.

The strange creature found dead in Maine

For the past 15 years, residents across Androscoggin County, Maine have reported seeing and hearing a mysterious animal with chilling monstrous cries and eyes that glow in the night. The animal has been blamed for attacking and killing a Doberman pinscher and a Rottweiler the past couple of years.
Residents are now wondering if an animal found dead over the weekend may be the mysterious creature that has mauled dogs, frightened residents and been the subject of local legend for half a generation. The animal was found near power lines along Route 4 on Saturday, apparently struck by a car while chasing a cat. The carcass was photographed and inspected by several people who live in the area, but nobody is sure exactly what it is.

Michelle O'Donnell of Turner spotted the animal near her yard about a week before it was killed. She called it a "hybrid mutant of something." O'Donnell tells the Sun Journal of Lewiston, "It was evil, evil looking. And it had a horrible stench I will never forget," adding that, "We locked eyes for a few seconds and then it took off. I've lived in Maine my whole life and I've never seen anything like it." Wildlife officials and animal control officers declined to go to Turner to examine the remains, and by Tuesday, the carcass had been picked clean by vultures.

Loren Coleman, a Portland author and cryptozoologist, says the incident reminded him of a case years ago in northern Maine in which an animal shot by a hunter could not be identified. However, in the end, wildlife officials got a DNA analysis that showed the animal was a rare wolf-dog hybrid.

The body of a Chupacabras was recently found on the land of a farmer from Nicaragua. Specialists described the animal as an uncommon species after a careful examination of its skeleton. It presents yellow hair on its short tail, large eye-sockets, soft skin like that of a bat, large claws and fangs, and a crest on its main vertebrae. Could this be the Chupacabras? A team of biologists and veterinarians from Leon must now answer the question. The skeleton of the animal that quenched its thirst with the blood of sheep on the San Lorenzo farm, owned by Jorge Luis Talavera and located 154 km from Malpaisillo, Nicaragua, was found in the early morning hours of Monday 28th of August, 2000 some 80 meters away from the paddock where it took its victims. "The creature could be a hybrid of several species, created in a laboratory by means of genetic engineering," noted Giocconda Chevez, Malpaisillo's veterinarian. Jorge Talavera explained that he opened fire against the alleged Chupacabras using a shotgun, causing its death and resulting in its flesh being devoured by vultures. The creature was in an advanced state of decomposition by the time it was discovered.

"We had to kill it, in 15 days it sucked 25 sheep, and my neighbour lost 35 sheep in 10 days. It was an average of 5 sheep and goats a night," he explained. The animals remains were studied at the Hospital Escuela de Leon (Leon Teaching Hospital), where veterinarians and biologists were on hand to examine it, according to a report by Edgard Orozco, who is in charge of the Department of Forensic Medicine.

The skeleton of the suspected Chupacabras was taken to the Medical Campus of UNAN-Leon to determine what species it belonged to, affirmed the biologist Pedrarias D醰ila. "We recorded the characteristics of the skeletal system, number of vertebrae and ribs, nails, decomposition state, among others, to place it in a database," he explained.




He added that the second stage (of the analysis) included the preservation of the rest of the body so that the state of decomposition does not advance; and third, a team of specialists will establish to what species the animal belongs. D醰ila showed that they do not relate it to any well-known animal.

What is assured is that the remains belonged to 'heterodonto,' that is to say a mammal. "We can not say when there will be results because we lack some pieces (of the animal), that is the reason why we must take time; for example, if we have to send samples of DNA to the outside for analysis," said D醰ila. Jorge Luis Talavera, owner of the property San Lorenzo, where the supposed Chupacabras shot and killed, said, "There were three targets...and one was black. The one that died was yellow. "In previous weeks, I wounded one, but I did not manage to kill it," he concluded.




The animal's skeleton that sucked the blood of the sheep at the farm "San Lorenzo", property of Jorge Luis Talavera, 154 kilometers of Malpasillo, was found in the early  morning hours, 80 meters from the victim's corral. "It could be a hybrid animal made up of several species, created in a laboratory by genetic engineering", said Gioconda Ch関ez, veterinarian of Malpaisillo. The Specialist described the animal as a very uncommon species, after observing the skeleton with yellow hair on its short tail, having great eye cavities, smooth bat skin like, big claws, a jaw that shows big teeth and a outstanding crest sticking out from the main vertebra.
Jorge Talavera explained that three days beforehand he had shot and killed a supposed "chupacabras", with his rifle, but the " zopilotes" (vultures) had eaten the animals flesh and it was in a state of decomposition. In the 15 days that preceded its death, it had sucked the blood of 25 sheep and his neighbour lost 35 others. An average of 5 sheep per night."

This strange looking creature is an Ocean Sunfish, sometimes known as a Swimming Head, as that's pretty much what it is, a head with fins ! This was 1942.

My job in the field of conservation results in hearing some strange stories and seeing some extremely strange photographs. Attached are three photos that definitely fall into the "strange" category. (the second two are below)

These pictures were taken in the Northeast section of the United States in an extremely rural area. As shown, there is a whitetail doe stuck on top of a power pole. She had apparently been up there for a moderate amount of time. I've heard broad speculation regarding the explanation for this, but no one is certain. If you notice the back hooves are clipped (almost uniformly).



There is a train track several yards away and there is a possibility that the deer was struck and tossed into the air, thus landing on the pole. However, the deer would have to have traveled in the air approximately 45 feet (across) to the pole and reach a height of approximately 22 feet (up) to reach the top of the pole. These pictures are somewhat reminiscent of the "Deer in the Tree" story that you guys recently highlighted in the Hot Stories section of the website.
