My Desktop is cleared of unwanted icons/files

nak tanya ni...ada ke software khas untuk auto delete/uninstall files/software yg di create shotcut kat desktop...
maksudnya bila kita set default icon kat desktop yg basic spt My Computer, My Documents, My Network Places, Recycle Bin, dan some of files' shotcuts yg kita drag or place @ desktop...jadi misalnya bila kita save sumthing (contoh save file extension .doc kat desktop), then bila reboot pc, file .doc yg kat desktop tu automatik deleted...

But be aware that those things on your DESKTOP could be a REAL FILE..
so, are u sure you want to get rid of it?

Setahu aku takde software yang boleh buat auto-restore icons/desktop lagi... yang manual maybe boleh (kena cuba baru tau):
Icon Restore
Closest to an auto-restore is DeepFreeze - tapi baik2 guna ni... apa2 changes ko buat (termasuk install program baru) semua KO. Tiap2 kali kena reset DeepFreeze camtu.

deepfreeze worth it tapi memenatkan nak frozen dan thaw..better icon restore |

software ni untuk yg suka ubah resolution pc supaya taknak icon shuffle kan...manual pulak tu...masalahnya aku tak suka ubah resolution tu...keke
p/s: ada certain icons yg 'shortcut' takleh guna sistem ni like limewire...dah try go to My Computer --> C:/drive ---> Program Files ---> folder limewire ---> copy icon tu then paste kat desktop...tp bila right-click, tadak pun 'Save Desktop Icon Layout' tu...winzip punya icon boleh pulak buat step tadi... :hmm: |

No... software tu bukan untuk tukar2 screen resolution... dia tu boleh savekan icon position kat desktop... only bila resolution tukar, ko boleh select nak letak restore balik original position. Aku tak berapa pasti dia boleh delete atau tidak files kat desktop tu (sebab description dia kata dia boleh restore balik ke preset condition)... itu sebab aku letak "maybe boleh (kena cuba baru tau)"
Ko nak letak shortcut ke Limewire? Cuba buat camni...
1. Right-click kat desktop. Pilih NEW>SHORTCUT.
2. Navigate and select Limewire.exe tu.
3. Click OK sampai habis semua dialogs.
Now cuba tengok kalau dia boleh diguna.

aku paham...maksud aku, software ni untuk mereka yg kerap tukar screen resolution dari niormal kepada 1024x768 pixels pastu tukar balik ke resolution asal (800x600) sbbnya kekadang certain website (especially web gov.) yg kena isi isi borang tu tak boleh click 'submit' button sbb tak dapek nak scroll down mouse kat bottom website tu...(aku pernah alami, tp lupa site apa  )...
p/s: ok nanti aku try step lime wire tu...anyway thanks ooo1 |

Aaa... thanks. Now faham... masa ko right-click icon tu dia tak kuar option yang ko nak tu.
Workaround tu ada dia letak kat site atas tu:
XP Users: It may be necessary to access "Save Desktop Icon Layout" & "Restore Desktop Icon Layout" from the Recycle Bin, My Computer, My Documents etc icon. This is because you are using a 'shortcut' as opposed to a 'system' icon for 'My Computer'.
So sekarang cuba ko right-click kat one of the system icons (Recycle Bin etc) and options tu ada. Sekali click jer kat satu icon and save desktop icon layout dah cukup untuk save semua.

folks...korang ada tak auto-delete icons kat desktop guna system registry...dah puas cari function ni yg versi software tapi tak dapek...keke

Boleh kot... biasanya "0" for 'No' and "1" for 'Yes'.
