Matematik Community and Reference Sharing

Sebenarnya tujuan buat thread nih pasal nak tanya jika ada forumer tahu mengenai website atau community yg baik utk perbaiki math seperti online tutorial, latihan and tips.
Mostly free, kebanyakan yg jumpa ialah yang berbayar.

Math is not my strongest point (dan tuk 3 sem ni kebetulan kne amik math (pure, discrete dan advance)tp satu sems satu subjek math la kalo tak mati!!)
Jadi saya nak berkongsi website dan dalam masa yang sama boleh tambahkan lagi tempat nak rujuk atau community.
Exersice dan prektis agak susah nak dapat!
Jadi forumer boleh la share jugak.

saya tak sure online tutorial ni bagus ke tak sebab saya masih gunakan cara konvensional belajar math (i'm from old school).

bagi saya schaum series better untuk practise any subject in math since diberi solution untuk selesaikan masalah math. series ni cover almost all math subject dan ada juga untuk subject lain.

wolfram tu produce mathematica (software untuk solve math problem) tapi bagi saya perlu belajar mcm biasa dulu baru pakai any software tu solve problem sebab dalam math kita perlu both analytical and numerical solution and of course analytical much accurate dari numerical.

saya tak pernah tahu pulak boleh sambung study math secara online (sorry saya bukan major math!). kursus mcm managment tu adalah.

lagipun nak belajar math ni tak boleh online sebab you need to learn from point a to b. even ada software mcm-mcm nak solve problem in math tapi kena tahu mcmana nak solve analytical dulu sebab kena buat test comparison. you need pen and paper (and also scientific calculator) sebagai permulaan belajar math!

kenapa nak sambung secara online?

saya student civil engg. utm. lagi setahun dah nak abis study.
nak dekat2 abis study ni baru saya terdetik yg sebenarnya jiwa saya ni lebih kpd math, bukannya engg..huhuhuhuhu.
tu la sebab saya nak cari kusus maths ni bagi meningkatkan lg kecintaan saya terhadap maths.

since super_nova kat utm why not tanya fakulti sains samada ada offer dip in math. saya ingat di utm memang ada offer B.Sc Math tapi diploma tak sure pulak.

Selain tu boleh check kat Open University kot-kot ada dip or bachelor in math.

kalau university luar negara yang offer online diploma or bachelor kena hati-hati sebab selalunya universiti virtual ni selalunya tak wujud secara realiti. nanti rugi duit dan dip/bachelor tu tak laku.

KAT UTM,math x silap saya x der part time..diploma pon x da kat UTM..saya nak try study online,lebih flexible rasanya...

maths ni berbeza jauh ke dgn math engineering?

memang banyak beza. saya bimbang nanti super_nova tak boleh carry subject pulak. bukan nak menakutkan tapi major math especially pure math perlukan semangat yang kuat.

Untuk diploma saya rasa tak ada diploma in math (tapi diploma in statistic ada di UiTM) tapi lebih kepada diploma in sains (Sains Aktuari, Sains Kuantitatif, Sains saja). Tapi bagi saya diploma ini maybe mudah untuk super_nova sebab background dalam engineering. Terus teras saya tak tahu ada online study untuk lanjutkan pelajaran in math.

by the way saya listkan beberapa major math dalam BSc yang dioffer di IPTA-IPTA Malaysia
1. B.Sc. Pure Math
2. B.Sc Applied Math
3. B.Sc Statistic
4. Ada juga B.Sc Industrial Math (tapi saya tak sure sangat apa scope subject maybe mcm Applied Math)
5. B.Sc. Education Major Math

Di OUM ada offer kursus no.5 tapi saya tengok subjectnya lebih untuk guru. Super_nova boleh check sini

sesungguhnya saya teramat cemburu dengan generasi yg belajar Math and Science didalam english,

semester ini saya ambil Discrete Math,
ia lebih kepada Math Logic, maklum la kita nak tahu bagaimana komputer berfikir!

schaum series neh mmg susah... setiap topik tuh... first page je boleh gagah... the next tuh tepakse tanya lecturer...
