Google Doodle Today - Happy Birthday Harry Houdini

Harry Houdini (lahir di Budapest, Hungary, 24 Mac 1874–meninggal di Detroit, 31 Oktober 1926) adalah seorang ahli silap mata terkemuka yang berasal dari Amerika Syarikat. Beliau paling dikenali melalui aksi-aksi meloloskan dirinya, antara lain melepaskan diri dari ikatan tali, gari, rantai, dan yang paling terkenal: muslihat Chinese water torture, di mana tubuh Houdini digantung terbalik lalu dia berjaya meloloskan diri dari almari kaca yang diisi penuh dengan air.

Houdini mula menjadi ahli silap mata bermula pada tahun 1891. Awalnya dia hanya melakukan aksi silap matanya menggunakan kad-kad terup, namun kerjayanya menanjak sejak mula memfokuskan diri pada aksi-aksi meloloskan diri. Pertunjukan terakhir Houdini berlangsung pada 24 Oktober 1926. Sehari kemudian dia telah dimasukkan kedalam hospital dan meninggal dunia akibat peritonitis di bahagian apendiks pada 31 Oktober 1926.

Robert Wilhelm Eberhard Bunsen, Robert Bunsen for short, probably reminds many of you of misspent hours in science labs at school where the mischievous set fire to many a splint while the inquisitive conducted viable and interesting experiments. Google Doodle Today:Ice Cream Sundae's 119th anniversary

On April 3, 1892 in New York, John M. Scott and Chester Platt created the very first documented sundae. Since the dices of ice cream were covered with cherry syrup and candied cherries, they named the dish “Cherry Sunday”. This time the April 3 is also a Sunday and it is 119’th anniversary of Sundae Ice Cream, so Google is celebrating this occasion with a yummy doodle.
As usual, G written with a calibrated font, and OO with ice creams and GLE again with calibrated font.

And it’s undeniable tat 1 of the most often eats ice cream desserts of all people of all-time is the ice cream sundae.

An ice cream sundae contains a scoop of ice cream with syrup on top and an additional topping like cherry, sprinkles, tiny bits of marshmallows and nuts. Original flavor was a vanilla ice cream sundae with flavored sauce, whipped cream and a cherry on top. Nowadays, there are lots of types of sundaes that you can actually buy — there are strawberry sundaes, caramel sundae and so many others

According to the history, there are lots of different states who claims that sundae originated in their place. These states include Two Rivers, Wisconsin; Plainfield, Illinois; Evanston, Illinois, New York City, Ithaca, New York; Buffalo, New York and Cleveland, Ohio and Buffalo. With all the claiming of the origin of the ice cream sundae, no one could probably say where it was really originated.

Some people say that there used to be a law in the past that prohibits the selling of ice cream sodas on Sunday, because they are sinful. So, the name “sundae” was claimed to be formed as a response to this law.

Kolonel Gagarin meninggal pada 27 March 1968 ketika MIG-15 yang ia kemudikan mengalami kecelakaan di Moscow. Kemudian, ia dimakamkan sebagai pahlawan, abu jenazahnya dikebumikan di Tembok Kremlin.
