Early marriages are the norm in small villages in Muslim countries.  After celebrating their wedding with relatives, the little bride's veil and go into a new life with their husbands.  "Some rural girls are considering marriage as an escape from under the total control of their families," says the activist.

  6.  Kandahar police officer Malalai Kakar arrested a man who repeatedly beat his wife with a knife fifteen years, for not obeying him.  "With him will not do anything," said Kakar, when asked what would happen to this man.  "Men are kings." Kakar was later murdered by the Taliban.

  7.  Long after midnight, when the five-year Rajani was awakened from his sleep and his uncle carried her to her wedding.  Child marriage is illegal in India, so that such ceremonies are often held in the wee hours of the morning.  They are a mystery, which keeps the whole village, explained one farmer.

  8.  Rajani and her child groom barely look at each other while they are married before the sacred fire.  By tradition, the young bride continued to live at home until puberty, when a second ceremony will mark their transition to full power of her husband.

  9.  Although early marriages are the norm in her small Nepalese village, sixteen-year-Zurita screaming in protest when she leaves the house his family, and its transport to the village of her new husband.

  10.  When parents Sunil, who lives in Rajasthan, India, organized by her marriage at the age of eleven, she threatened to report them to police.  They relented, and Sunil, now thirteen, has remained in school.  "Education will give her an advantage over the other," says her mother now.

org mana yg kata tu?...mak aku lahirkan adik aku masa umur 50thn lebih dan ramai saudara mara aku yg masih melahirkan anak selepas 40 tahun subur jer mereka....
kini di negara maju adalah biasa perempuan kawin umur 30an dan dapat anak...ni hanya fakta lelaki yg teringin kawin budak...

   aku cakap kurang subur la. nenek aku pun lahirkan mak su aku time dy 40 lbey gak. subur yang optimum time pompuan umur belasan taun nak masuk 20-an. lepas 20-an, risiko kelahiran yang bermasalh berkadar terus dengan peningkatan umo. tapi x sume. depend kat orang tu camne. kene berbalik kepaa hukum, x salah kahwin dengan pompuan belasan taun. bukan die xbley blaja or keje pun lps tu. kahwin awl x manghalang kemajuan ummah. insyaAllah...

kesian budak2 ni, tak ada peluang utk mendapat pendidikan..disebabkan adat..

adakah mereka dlm culture ni sebenarnya dah mentally ready utk berumah tangga?? kesian mereka, di saat budak2 sebaya kat negara lain sedang menuntut ilmu kat skolah, mereka pulak spend masa dgn memandikan & memberi makan anak2 mereka yg kecil

subur tapi membawa masalah dan nyawa terancam kpd anak dan ibu yg melahirkan muda,di indon kajian membuktikan kematian bayi dari ibu muda adalah paling tinggi.....
usia paling awal terbaik 18thn ke atas itupun kalau malas nak belajar lagi dah...artikel ini merujuk kpd perkahwinan seawal umur 6 tahun dan tak sempat baligh memang barbarian.

Kawin muda pun ada syarat2nyaa... Bukannya hetam kromo ja.. Tapi kalau sekarang (lelaki) 16-18 tahun dah nak kawin memang susah la nak pecaya dia boleh bawa bini dia atau tak. Melainkan si suami mengamalkan (ilmu agama ,ilmu tauhid, ilmu aqidah) dengan baik dan sentiasa belajar, dengan izi Allah pasti dia dapat melayari bahtera perkahwinan mereka. Mencari dan amalkan ilmu agama ni dengan ikhlas kerana Allah,  dunia free2 ja dapat (dengan izin Allah). Mohon pembetulan jika ada kesalahan.
