this is the 5th.. out of 9th lost treasures of HH Albert Baker

1892

Is when the last chinese Emperor bestowed the 1st class Dragon medal to HH Albert Baker at Tyersall Palace, Singapore.

The awards were consisted few rare treasures of Chinese Royal Court.. on one of which - tongkat Emas padu dlm thread Lost Majestic Treasures I

This another 'lost treasures' is amongst the award that has been vanished from history..

TRADITION

Aku bagi contoh simple :

Cerita2 filem cina... a pair of chair mcm diatas ni is very common in the house of Chinese noble... cerita wong fei hung... cerita Ip Man etc.

Yes.. tempat dorang dealing, tempat dorang angkat sumpah etc... AND.. tempat dorang kawin tukar2 cawan..

Thus.. "SEPASANG" kerusi mcm ni.. memang tradisi orang2 besar cina..

KERUSI NAGA YANG HILANG

Kerusi ni datangnya sepasang.. meaning ada 2.

Kerusi dibawah ini, terdapat di SIngapore.. dimiliki oleh chinese businessman... which later, dia pun bingung dgn origin kerusi ni.. bile tanye2.. baru dapat tau kerusi ni datang sepasang.. satu lagi - berada di Istana Besar Johor..

Ciri-ciri khas :

Design tersebut merupakan design khas istana Maharaja China... meaning, no common people could own it.

Kerusi ni banyak ciri2 lain yg same signaturenya dgn perabut dalam Forbidden City, coraknya, jointnya... terutama ukiran naganya... = hanya mempunyai 4 jari..

This make the antiquity believes, it come from Qing's Dynasty...

ISTANA BESAR KONNECTION

DAN... lagi satu bijik, kerusi yang sama JUGA TERDAPAT DI ISTANA BESAR JOHOR BAHRU....

Korang boleh pegi tengok sendiri.. kt north wing tingkat atas.. ade satu kerusi ukiran naga di penjuru bilik pertama.... sorry.. xde gambar, sebab dlm istana besar x bleh ambik gambar..

Yess... sepasang.. satu di singapore.. satu di Johor.  Kedua2nya sudah terpisah selama 110 tahun... harap2 ada orang yg dapat 'menyatukan' kerusi2 ini... Amin..

HOw it landed in Singapore???

Tyersall Palace.

This Palace, said the having the most majestic collection of treasures from around the world.. owned by HH Albert Baker... seperti yg diceritakan dalama thread 'saer na tien piet'..

It is said to burnt down in 1905 and raised to ground ever since.  HOWEVER, banyak harta2 dari Istana Tyersall ni terlepas je tangan orang lain... yg sekarang cuba dilelong.. contoh : tongkat emas padu tu.. dan kerusi ni...

so.. antiquity cube ratekan kerusia dia.  then, they stumbled into magnificient info.. this piece is actually the royal emperor treasures.. because of it's distinction

then.. search punye search... similar chair also have in JB... at istana besar.
