White Crocodile Surprises Residents

Tutong (07.02.2012) - A resident of Kampong Telisai was in for a shock of his life when he spotted what appeared to be a white crocodile on the river near the Telisai Bridge in the Tutong District. Mohd Azmi Haji Abdul Salim said the crocodile looked to be 11-feet in length. "This was a shocking experience for me, crocodiles are usually greenish in colour, the one that I saw was white. Other people who saw it took photos with their mobile phones," he said. According to Mohd Azmi, he saw the crocodile at around 10.25am yesterday and fellow residents living near Kampong Telisai Mosque also reported sighting the reptile.
