I am surprised that so many of you here haven’t already caught on to the fact that this season is rigged entirely even before the beginning of the season just to have a Filipino win. Just some of the many things:
- Monika is a Malaysian citizen but the show has made sure to erase any references/links she has to Malaysia; even she identifies herself as Filipino Malaysian on her Instagram and Tweets (have Filipino heritage but Malaysian citizen/national – just like my mother is Chinese Malaysian i.e. ethnic Chinese but Malaysian citizen/national and my dad is Norwegian Canadian i.e. ethnic Norwegian but Canadian citizen/national and some of my friends are African-American/Mexican-American i.e. Mexican or African heritage but American citizen/national). Her family lives and works in Malaysia.
- Shareeta, a Malaysian with strong potential, was immediately eliminated at the very beginning…and then Melissa, the majority’s favorite and most potential was eliminated halfway through the competition : they intentionally spread out the elimination of these two strong Malaysian contestants to get rid of anyone better than Monika.
- The only other true Filipino they have is Franchesca – who isn’t a strong competitor so they had to go for Monika who isn’t Filipino national/citizen but in doing that they had no choice but to edit out/erase any reference/link she has to Malaysia. Amanda Chan is Chinese-Australian and doesn’t have an ounce of Filipino heritage/blood in her; her parents were just born as generation of Chinese immigrations in Philippines.
- After last season’s retarded Filipino fans’ illogical behavior over two Filipinos being in the top 3 not winning, the show knew they might be in danger of losing these 80 million easy Filipino cash cows. So they had to find a Filipino host, and also find a contestant who they can make as a representative of Philippines with proper editing and staging.
- The show made huge mistakes of pulling through Filipino contestants who were weak but were saved multiple times into the top 3 (Stephanie and Katarina). The crazy illogical Filipino fans going: “oh there’s two Filipinos in top 3 and not one of them won” : news flash – this is not a probability contest. Plus, Steph and Katarina should’ve been eliminated way earlier before the top 3 in the first place.
- The very intentional negative editing of Gani – who undoubtedly has the strongest potential by far out of all contestants this season regionally and internationally, while the champion editing of Monika.
- The underserved first call-outs for Monika; such a disgrace to quality of the show.
- The show makes easy money from having the 80 million Filipino viewers not leaving vs. 20 million in Malaysia vs. 4 million in Singapore vs. 6 million in Hong Kong etc.
It’s really sad that the show has rigged all of these just for their own profits, and so a really weak winner (Monika) will be shamefully representing us Asia badly this season. Sheena made us proud by being re-signed by Storm (even Jessica didn’t get that), and booking not just runways but campaigns and editorials in Europe. Even if we want to have a Filipino winner, at least wait for a good one to represent both Asia and Philippines well (example: the 2 Filipino male divers at the SEA Games recently is just preview of what will happen with Monika). |

moga season dpn dorang banned dr msk asntm so biar negara lain yg msk...host n smua bnda pn jgn libatkan pinoy..salah satu sebab aku xlayan season ni psl dh cam pinoy next top model dh..xnmpak asia nya laie..
n pinoy2 yg meroyan ni gak la akan ckp sheena is better than gani...pdhal season lps bkn main kutuk sheena xingat dunia...

jumlah penonton malaysia+singapura+japan+lain2 negara asia combine sekaligus pun tak dapat nak tandingi jumlah penonton dari pinoy. Biasalah, these kind of program dah macam akasia kat phillipines.
