nenek tgn kidal gak tp masa sek zaman inggeris dulu kena ketuk sbb tulis tgn kiri..last2 dua2 tgn leh tulis...samer kes jugak ngan ibu aku....kidal tp tulis tgn kanan..yg bestnyer, kalo nak wat keje2 lain mcm menggunting ker..memotong ker..semua tgn kiri...takdelah penat sgt tgn tuh ..ye dakkk???

so, adik aku kiri....adik ipar pun kiri...tgk2 anak aku pun kidal walaupun kitaorg nih kanan....amik makanan guna tgn kanan pun ditukarkan ke tgn kiri sblm masuk ke dlm mulut.....sabo ajelah....

perlu ke?

emm.. kalau anak tu cenderung 'kidal', patut ke kita halang kemahuan dia?
sebenarnya, me ni pun kidal gak.. MIL klu nampak my son mcm suka guna tangan kiri, sure suruh tukar. Hmm.. patut ke buat gitu? tak terbantut ke perkembangan dia? sure MIL takut my son terikut maknye, kidal.
rasanya mcm pernah baca, budak2 takde preference until umo 2 or 3 yrs old.

ina pernah baca satu artikel (tapi tak perasan kat mana), yang orang yang kidal inie kreatif. lagi satu bila seseorang itu kidal dia akan menggunakan sepenuhnya otak kanan dia. artikel tue cakap lagi kalau anak kita kidal, kita jangan paksa dia guna tangan kanan. nanti semuanya akan turn up side down. lainlah kalau dalam bab makan, basuh berak ker..yang tue kena ler ajau. lagipun satu anugerah apa dapat anak yang lefthanded. hubby ina lefthanded. suka tengok dia masa menulis. cuma kesian jer masa dia guna gunting. terkial kial. rerasanya anak ina yg no. 3 akan dapat gen hubby ina LEFTHANDED.

Hehe... Haku ni pon kidal gak...

Dolu2 mak Haku pernah cuba ajar Haku tulis guna tangan Kanan... akibatnya, tulisan Haku suma songsang je...kehkeh...

Haku ni... masa menulis ngan pe ...

Memang Kakmelah pun kidal juga... selalu juga confuse mana satu kanan dan kiri dan confusekan taxi drebar tu...... he he he... orang kidal ni ada kelebihan dia.... very creative tau..... so biarkanlah anak tu tulis tangan kiri tak rugi apa apa pun tapi tangan makan tetap tangan kanan le...

well

cik dee pun left handed
my eldest brother also left handed
tapi my parents both right handed

my parents tak pernah titik (pukul) tangan ke apa kalau guna tangan kiri
except for menda2 makan, basuh berak etc

for me ada kelebihan kalo someone tu lefthanded (bias le ni ) sebab cik dee masa makan pakai sudu i still can write while eating
tak ke special tu?

about adapting to the right hand world - i think semulajadi bila kita diexpose ke benda2 seperti gunting, meja kat uni sumer, we adapt
no complains
so cik dee takde le terkial2 nak guna gunting etc

after a while i became ambidextrous (i can write both hands and do many things with either right or left hand)
may also sebab cik dee main piano where i use both hands

pasal creativity - well, i am musically inclined
alhamdulillah tak tone deaf
so tatau la ni kategori more creative or not

i will not halang my kids for their preference to become a lefthanded/righthanded person
what i will prepare them if they are left handed is to become more adaptable
btw, hubby right handed

My son is lefthanded.  Found out masa umur dia setahun setengah. Sejak tu memang ajar dia makan (kalau guna tangan) guna tangan kanan. Kalau makan dengan sudu atau garpu, dia akan guna tangan kanan juga.

Awal tu memang kesian sebab ingatkan tak banyak tools yang left handed friendly. Tapi, bila buat survey, banyak big Stationary stores jual stationary things for left handed  kids/people.

Masa kat sekolah dulu, subjek agama, ada bincang pasal kebaikan menggunakan tangan kanan berbanding kiri. Teruk Shin kena ejek dengan kawan.

Now nampak Iskandar pun pro-kidal. Tak kisah.

SpotLight: Nothing is RIGHT for the LEFT hand

Chong (right) holding a left-handed scissors, while her sister Ruth, who is right-handed, holds a right-handed scissors. Notice the opposing blades on these two scissors

EVERY DAY, left-handed people struggle to use tools that are designed for right-handed people.

Like scissors, pencil sharpener blades are differently positioned, too. On the right is a right-handed sharpener, and a left-handed sharpener on the left.

Something as simple as cutting paper can turn into a frustrating mess. While right-handers enjoy cutting paper cleanly along a line, left-handers using right-handed scissors end up tearing and 慴ruising
