I ada sikit legal background. My sifu said, lebih baik melepaskan sorang yang tak bersalah dari tersalah hukum orang yang tak bersalah.

Thats reality in judgement system. Not guilty until proven

Dalam undang2 Islam mcm jugak sis, tak cukup bukti tak hukum. Tp Insya Allah hukuman akhirat tak lepas.

If dah dpt hukuman di dunia ikut betul2 syariah, Insya Allah dah lepas hukuman akhirat

Sekadar yg sy diajar begitula

i choose no 2, innocent until provent guilty.

but somehow culture di malaysia, if the case still on going pun but there is few rumour memang dah macam jatuh hukum bersalah. ramai sangat nak jadi hakim. we are allow to speak what in our mind, but there is thin line between judging and opinion.

Kalau ikut ajaran Islam, fitnah lebih kejam dari membunuh. So innocent until proven guilty.

We're always innocent until proven guilty:

1.  Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defense.

2. No one shall be held guilty of any penal offence on account of any act or omission which did not constitute a penal offence, under national or international law, at the time when it was committed. Nor shall a heavier penalty be imposed than the one that was applicable at the time the penal offence was committed.

Once someone gets arrested, ppl tend to close their eyes to other possible suspects. So it's better to presume innocence n not exclude other suspects during investigations.
