Robert Pattinson, sexy vampire star of the movie "Twilight," caused an absolute Internet uproar with a new hairdo that many fans thinks is a hair don't: He traded in his trademark tousled locks (perfect for vampiring) for a no-muss, Marine-style crew cut. (Perfect for looking like a standard-issue Hollywood star.)
Let's just say that the new look has not gone unnoticed. Fans of the teen heartthrob turned to the Web in a frenzy of look-ups for "Robert Pattinson haircut." And also "Robert Pattinson new hair," "Robert Pattinson new hair cut," "Rob Pattinson new haircut," and "Robert Pattinson with short hair."
Hecklerspray noted that Pattinson has "the world's dreamiest hair... so if Robert Pattinson ever had a haircut, we'd probably kill ourselves."
Probably not. But that doesn't stop fans from feelling a slight betrayal in the change. People.com has helpfully added a poll to its website for opinionated hair-istas to vote on how they feel about the shorter, unfussy look.
The previous romantically coiffed waves made Pattinson a dead ringer for the teen vampire role of Edward Cullen. Which could be the reason "Twilight" fans are just a tad upset he's gone and chopped his locks. As one commenter on People.com bemoaned, "Rob's hair looks good both ways. But how can he cut his hair and play Edward Cullen?"
Yes, would someone please think of the fans? As many pointed out, filming for the sequel is three months away -- and opinions ranged about whether this is enough time for his hair to grow back for the role. OMG suggested that to reprise the signature 'do, Pattinson may be forced to don hair extensions. Would fans buy Pattinson in a wig?
It's not just his head that gets the fans going online. Searches extend to "Robert Pattinson shirtless," "Robert Pattinson biography," and "Robert Pattinson girlfriend." Pattinson still may not really get the mania surrounding him. He told AccessHollywoood.com, "Well, they're in love with the character... I really don't claim anything."
He's right. It's not him. It's his hair.

iawt, tgk interview dia ni boleh lawak betul. his response would be spontaneous and he seemed to me, to be very modest. not taking credit for the fans love for him instead kept saying the fans love the character.
also he never seemed to get tired of being asked the same qns over and over again.
and lol to fan's reaction to his haircut. i love his new haircut but not as much as his old hairstyle. |

But the real reason the movie -- based on Stephenie Meyer's best-selling book -- looks like such a success is the intense romantic chemistry between co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Kristen, 18, plays Bella Swan, a mortal teenage girl who falls for handsome vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert, 22. "Kristen and Rob bonded from the moment they met," an insider tells Life & Style. "They got along so well that people were convinced they were secretly in love."
Sparks certainly flew from the start. "She and Rob had a lot in common, and it didn't take long for them to develop a very close relationship," reveals the insider. "They were very touchy-feely around each other and they seemed to share a lot of inside jokes." In fact, Robert was overheard proposing to Kristen on set on several occasions -- apparently he was trying to stay in character -- and he constantly recommended books to her, even buying her a copy of Doomed Love by Virgil. "I felt like an idiot just following her around," Robert recently admitted.
Though Kristen is currently dating actor Michael Angarano, with three Twilight sequels reportedly in development, Robert may have plenty of time to work his charm on Kristen!

Rob: "I know, it's really strange. Well, you do though. You do, but then it's funny how, you know.. that's.. that's the damage you have when you try to do anything real in acting, you kind of..you leave jobs and with both people feeling like they have no idea who the other one is, it's this horrible experience. But it's weird, it's like being at a funeral. I remember I was with a friend of mine when he both started acting and we at this funeral and there was this guy giving this really moving speech, everybody's crying in audience and then we kind of look at each other to see if we're crying and burst out laughing, it's like, 'are you going to use this? Are you going to use this material?' and it's like, is this your life, just become this bizarre thing.."
Ryan: "Was her boyfriend around, when you guys are doing some of these scenes ?"
Rob:"Oh, yeah he was around like, quite a lot.."
Ryan: "And what was that like? [little bit of laughter.]"

Since raking in more than $150 million at the box office during its first month, the vampire romance Twilight has catapulted its cast from relative obscurity to stardom. Now, about nine weeks before the sequel, New Moon, is set to start filming, a change in director, possible cast upheaval, lofty expectations and cast members' problems dealing with sudden fame have everyone on edge. "There's been a lot of tension surrounding the sequel," says a cast insider. "It's a stressful time for them right now."
Some of the stars appear to be dealing with the pressure by hitting the party circuit -- to such a degree that it could be affecting their work. Robert Pattinson, 22, who stars as brooding vampire Edward Cullen, is known for his rugged bad-boy image. But after a long night at Teddy's in Hollywood recently, he was especially disheveled for a business meeting about his latest film project, Parts Per Billion. "At least one person at the meeting noted that Rob looked a little worse for wear," reveals an insider close to the actor's camp.
And his leading lady, Kristen Stewart, 18, who plays mortal Bella Swan, has her own way of coping with the attention. "It's no secret that Kristen likes to unwind by smoking pot," says the cast insider.

dah cukup koleksi novel beli lah ni plak ye...
