'How I Met Your Mother' season 7: the streaker cometh

On this upcoming season of "How I Met Your Mother," we have already heard all about a number of key plot points -- from a wedding to a pregnancy to Robin developing a relationship with her therapist.
With that, the next bit of news is going to come as a surprise -- a streaker. According to new reports, the show is going to have some sort of plot that features one of the show's characters running around in the nude. We don't know who this character would be, but we would have to wager that Barney could end up in the crosshairs here. (With that, we're actually hoping it's someone different.)
The new season of the show is set to premiere on September 19, but odds are we won't see any of the spontaneous nudity in this episode -- instead, the focus is going to be on the wedding of Ted's childhood friend Punchy.

'How I Met Your Mother' season 7: the essence of timing
There are going to be several major components to this upcoming season of "How I Met Your Mother" -- but it seems more than anything that timing is going to be front and center.
Speaking in a new interview with TV Guide on that very subject, executive producer Carter Bays explains that this season will focus very much on the important of when you fall in love, and not so much just falling in love itself:
"Love and romance to some degree is a game of musical chairs. At some point, the music stops and you're with someone. You don't know at the beginning of the game who you're going to end with. Hopefully it ends up being the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, but there's a lot of randomness to it and bad timing on parts of all the characters."
We are also going to know the identity of Barney's wife by the end of this season, and Bays says that it should make many longtime fans of the show happy. Will it be Robin? For now, both she and Nora seem to be the primary contenders for his heart -- though other ladies could enter the fray soon.
