Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Will Henry get a love life?
Season 4 of “Once Upon a Time” is well into production and gearing up for a late September premiere date. Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are very good about sharing spoilers and dropping teasers. This time it was TV Line who shared one of those spoilers on Aug. 19 and it regards Storybrooke’s one true believer.
It seems our young Henry is growing up and we may see him fall for a girl this season. Whether or not she is the right girl remains to be seen. ABC is in the process of casting ‘Lily’, a recurring role. She is described as a teen who is both self-reliant and bright with a “charming, take-no-prisoners punk exterior and the heart of a secretive, insecure opportunist.”
The character is slated to appear in the fifth episode of Season 4. How she comes to Storybrooke or whether she has a Fairy Tale Land past are unclear at this point. We hope Emma and Regina are ready for this.
The last time Henry had any serious storyline was at the beginning of Season 3 when he was a captive of Peter Pan’s on Neverland. The first half of that season focused on the effort to rescue him while he did his best not to fall prey to Pan’s persuasive arguments and tricks.
During the second half of the season, Henry had lost his memories of Storybrooke and the life he’d known there. He was little more than a pawn in the Wicked Witch’s efforts to exact her revenge on Regina.
Perhaps this new character will draw Henry out more. After four years, the boy has grown considerably, if not in stature alone then in maturity befitting a teen. It’s time for him to show a little rebellion and angst. This Lily could be just the character to bring that out in him.
In other “Once Upon a Time” news, those same producers are bringing another of their “Lost” alums on board. Elizabeth Mitchell, whom “Lost” fans will remember as Dr. Juliet Burke from the tropical island series, is joining the cast. What is her role? Horowitz and Kitsis are remaining mum on that subject, saying only, “She’s awesome, we love her, we’re so happy to have her and we can’t wait for the audience to discover who she is playing,” Horowitz teases.
Will she be a villain? Kitsis would only tease, “We never bring Lost actors on our show to be villains, so….”

Looks like things are getting pretty frosty in Storybrooke.
Once Upon a Time has released its first teaser trailer featuring Elsa of Frozen, and the 30-second clip of the popular Disney character passing through Storybrooke's signature landmarks show the locations' feeling, well, left out in the cold.
The ABC fantasy show made waves in July when it announced it had cast its Elsa, Fringe actress Georgina Haig, for its fourth season. (The show cast its Hans and Pabbie a few weeks later.)
The trailer, which debuted on the Hollywood Reporter site, also shows that some characters are perhaps less thrilled about Elsa's entrance than the rest of us.
Lana Parrilla's Regina/Evil Queen seems resigned to Elsa's arrival, casually remarking, "Here we go again," while Jennifer Morrison's Emma is even less enthused, limiting her commentary to a semi-exasperated "Really?"
How excited are you for Elsa and the rest of the cast of Frozen's arrival in Storybrooke when the show returns Sept. 28?
