Mega Banette is Ghost-type. It has the ability Prankster
Mega Medicham is Fighting/Psychic-type. It has the ability Pure Power
Mega Heracross, Y exclusive, is Bug/Fighting-type. It has the ability Skill Link
Mega Alakazam, is Psychic-type. It has the ability Trace
Mega Houndoom. Houndoom is exclusive to X but Houndoominite is exclusive to Y. It has the ability Solar Power

- Weakness Policy: When held, it sharply increases the holder's Attack and Special Attack when it is hit by a move that is Super Effective
- Assault Vest: When held, it raises Special Defense, but prevents the user from using Status moves
- Safety Goggles: When held, this protects the holder from weather damage and powder moves
- Ability Capsule (Costs 200BP): Switches between the Primary and Secondary abilities on the Pokémon
- Xerneas has two forms, merely appearance changes. One, the one we know, is in battle, the other is somewhat diluted and is how it appears outside of battle
- Friend Safari is located in the post-game. In it, it takes everyone on your friend list and makes them a specific type. When selected, Pokémon of that type appear. The Pokémon found here can have their Hidden Abilities. Unlike the Safari Zone, however, you can battle and use your own balls.
- You can get give the Poké Radar later in the game
- Legendary wise, the legendary birds of Kanto roam around Kalos, but seemingly flee before the menu even loads up. Will investigate further. Mewtwo is found in Pokemon Village
- It seems Pokémon in Hordes also have a chance of having their Hidden Ability
- Hordes can be triggered more often with things such as Honey, Sweet Scent etc. Considering they often have Pokémon that can't be found anywhere else, or with their Hidden Abilities, it's a good way to go
- Thunderbolt is now 90 Power, not 95. As is Flamethrower, Surf & Ice Beam. Thunder, Blizzard, Hurricane, Fire Blast, Hydro Pump are now 110 Power, now 120. I believe this one has been leaked, Hidden Power now has set damage of 60, rather than fluctuating based on IVs. Moonlight, Sweet Kiss & Charm are Fairy-type. Will-O-Wisp's accuracy has been increased to 85%
- It appears that starter Pokémon, such as the Kanto starters, can be found in Friend Safari
- Weight now plays a factor in the move Sky Drop
- Whimsicott is Grass/Fairy-type
- You find Looker later in the game and he hires you as his assistant to investigate things in Lumiose
- Mega Stones can only be found between 8pm and 9pm
- You battle your rival in Kiloude City. Afterwards you get given an Absolite and sent to Sycamore who is in Anistar City. He will upgrade the Mega Ring to allow for detection of Mega Stones.
- The Mega Ring will only react to hidden Mega Stones after 8pm
- Clefable is Pure Fairy-type
- Immediately after you start the game following defeating the Elite Four for the first time, Shauna will meet you outside your house. Eager to congratulate you, she will give you an opportunity to receive the unevolved form of her starter, the Pokémon yours was strongest against. If you chose Chespin, it'll be Froakie, if you chose Fennekin, it'll be Chespin and if you chose Froakie, it'll be Fennekin.

- The boxes now tell you if your Pokémon is of a different language
- You can't send Encounter or Stealth Powers to people.
- Shiny Pokémon confirmed to appear in hordes
- Minun now has the ability Volt Absorb and Plusle now has the ability Lightningrod. These Hidden Abilities are accessed via the Hordes
- Been giving Super Training a go, specifically the Super Secret Training. You can get various evolution items in it such as Leaf Stone, Dusk Stone etc.
- Seems there's new mulch. In this game, you can put 3 berries into a composter and it'll give you mulch. It increases the Berry yield
- Surprise Mulch: It can cause strange sudden mutations based on combination of Berries
- The Togepi line is Fairy-type
- Hatched Pokémon now are in the same PokéBall as the parent. There's also some changes to the breeding system in regsrds to inheritance
- Two new abilities have shown up from the Japanese side of things. Goodra's ability here states that if a Pokémon makes contact with it, the opponent's Speed is reduced. It's called "Sticky" in Japanese. Talonflame's increases priority for Flying-type moves. Its Japanese name is "Fast Wings".
- Ability names: Aroma Veil, Bulletproof, Gale Wings (presumably the one listed above) ,Gooey (presumably the one listed above) ,Grass Pelt ,Magician ,Symbiosis
