The ‘Shut up and pretty boys~!’ parade is continuing on.
The cable channel tvN’s drama, ‘Flower Boy Ramen Shop’, which has garnered interest and shook the hearts of women, will be finished on the 20th. In the midst of fans being sad about this, tvN plans to continue capturing the hearts of women through their follow up drama, which will have flower boys as the main as well.
As they prepared for the follow up rock-band drama, they picked out fresh newcomer actors. The definite title is ‘Shut Up! Flower Boy Band’ and they claim it to be a trendy drama that targets a female audience.
Representatives of the drama said, “This will be a flower boy drama with a different mood than ‘Flower Boy Ramen Shop’. We look forward to how they’ll show their uncut charms as fresh men who have come together as a rock band.” For this drama, tvN had previously created a newcomer actor audition program called, ‘Oh! Boy Project’ and casted some of the main leads through it.
However, ‘Shut up! Flower Boy Band’ will air near the end of January 2012, creating a gap when ‘Flower Boy Ramen Shop’ ends. tvN’s representatives explained, “Because we’ll need time to reorganize everything to make the 2012 drama better, we pushed off the schedule of ‘Shut Up! Flower Boy Band’ till the last week of January. Starting from February, we’ll have Wednesday-Thursday dramas and daily dramas.”
