THE father of the world's worst rapist has said his son's punishment "fits his crimes" after he was jailed for life yesterday.Reynhard Sinaga, 36, drugged and assaulted up to 195 men at his flat near Manchester city centre's gay village during a two-year reign of terror.

Sinaga's wealthy parents paid for him to study for three postgraduate courses in the UKThe PhD student from Indonesia was jailed for a minimum term of 30 years after Greater Manchester Police described the case as Britain's biggest ever rape investigation. Sinaga's conviction is believed to include the highest number of victims attacked by one man anywhere in the world. Saibun Sinaga, the depraved sex fiend's father, told BBC Indonesia: "We accept the verdict. His punishment fits his crimes. I don't want to discuss the case any further." In the UK, Sinaga spent a decade partying funded by a "very rich" family in Indonesia who didn't know he was gay and begged him to settle down and marry a woman.
He blew his rich property tycoon dad's money on partying as he enjoyed Manchester's liberal and tolerant atmosphere to homosexuality. But his openly gay lifestyle was a world away from the strict Catholic upbringing he had in Indonesia where homosexuality is frowned upon and illegal in some states. His parents Saibun and Normawaty didn't even know their son was gay and tried to pester him into getting married. Sinaga targeted tipsy revellers as they poured out of nearby nightclubs then filmed himself raping his unconscious victims in the seedy lair on a makeshift bed.
SEX FIENDHe used the date rape drug GHB on his victmis after he go them to his flat. A former friend told The Sun: "His relationship with his family wasn’t good. "They found him odd even before he came out as gay. And he didn’t come out to them. “I think he liked to get people’s attention to compensate. He used to say he was depressed because his parents tried to make him meet some girl from his country.
“The relationship wasn’t good because they wanted him to marry and have a family. We used to tell him to cheer up because he could be himself in Manchester. Everyone felt sorry for him not being able to be himself with his family. "He used to change his hair and clothes to go home and see them.”
Sinaga grew up in a mansion in the centre of Jakarta with a house brimming with maids and drivers. But the Spice Girls-obsessed fiend struggled to be himself with his family, who found him "odd" and wanted him to meet a girl from Indonesia to wed. Instead, Sinaga moved to the UK as a student in 2007 when he was 24 where he studied a masters in planning at Manchester University.

The flat is just yards from Manchester's gay villageThe bright student then completed another masters in sociology before enrolling in a PhD in geography at Leeds University, commuting there from Manchester.
His thesis was titled "Sexuality and everyday transnationalism: South Asian gay and bisexual men in Manchester". He was suspended from the university on his arrest and will not be allowed to complete his doctorate. Sinaga had begun to explore his sexuality as a student and had a string of boyfriends during his time living in Manchester. A pal said: "He would go to the gay village with us, but he used to tell us that during the week he would go to other clubs around. He liked masculine guys."
But while living near Manchester's clubbing scene, Sinaga would watch as his targets - usually straight men - poured in and out of nearby bars Factory and Fifth Avenue. And the rapist would prowl the streets outside the Manchester clubs in the early hours looking for lone, drunk men to attack. He even played "Top Trumps" of people he raped by keeping screenshots of his victims' social media profiles after checking their IDs. He also boasted of using his “secret poison” to make young, straight men “fall in love” with him.
In one chilling encounter captured on CCTV, he left his flat and returned with a victim just 60 seconds later. The teenager beat the predator so violently he left the rapist with a bleed on the brain and blood splattered around the flat.
Sinaga then spun a web of lies after being stretchered to hospital - meaning the victim, then aged 18, was arrested on suspicion of assault. But the blundering rapist had accidentally left an iPhone 4 in the teen's back pocket containing gruesome videos of him attacking his drugged victims. Police raced to twisted Sinaga's lair where they discovered another mobile - this time "propped to side” to capture rapes “in profile”.
On Monday Sinaga was caged for life after being found guilty of 159 charges against 48 men - aged between 17 and 36 - between January 2015 and June 2017. But cops found footage and other evidence of up to 195 victims on laptops and the two iPhones.
