I agree with you. Almost every month saya masuk Makkah samada ziarah atau umrah. Tempat tempat yang ada cranes tu pun di tutup, cuma dibuka untuk laluan sahaja, itu pun bukan di tingkat bawah. Nampaknya impact sangat kuat sehingga menembusi lantai masjid yang di tingkat atas.
kalau nak dikira, dalam bulan puasa lepas, lagi ramai jemaah kalau nak dibandingkan sekarang. Jemaah datang tak berhenti sepanjang tahun. Tiada ada masa langsung untuk buat kerja semasa tiada jemaah. Sebab tu dibuat phase by phase, bahagian yang directly involved dengan construction ditutup sehingga 2 pintu utama sahaja yang di buka.
Mungkin lepas ni Masjidil Haram akan ditutup terus kot sehingga construction selesai , masa ni dijangka siap pada hujung 2016.

Syahid bagaimana lagi yg dapat kita muslimin akui atau mau kita nafikan. Mereka yg mati adalah sedang menunaikan perintah Allah, hati dan jiwanya yg sedang diusung ke hulu-kehilir di ruang sai, tiba2 kematian menjemput pergi. Itu pun manusia gagal untuk memikirkan bahawasanya sebaik2 dan secangih2nya mana pun perancangan manusia, tak akan dapat menandingi ketentuan-Nya.
Pergi dan baleknya jemaah haji dalam keadaan baik dan sehat seadanya adalah harapan bagi semua sahabat dan keluarga, namun kematian adalah hak Allah jua.

Tengok ummah melayu cukup. pergi umrah itu hampir 'wajib' bagi yang mampu. And every visit tu koman2 pun 10-12 hari if not more.

The death toll in a crane accident at the Grand Mosque in the Muslim holy city of Mecca rose to 107 on Friday (September 11), the head of Saudi Arabia's civil defence authority told Al Ikhbariya television. He said 238 people had been injured. The accident came just weeks before Islam's annual haj pilgrimage. Al Arabiya television earlier said the crane had fallen because of strong storms - western Saudi Arabia has been hit by strong sand storms in the last few days. Saudi authorities go to great lengths to prepare for the millions of Muslim who converge on Mecca to perform the sacred pilgrimage. Last year, it reduced the numbers permitted to perform haj for safety reasons because of construction work to enlarge the Grand Mosque. The pilgrimage, one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, has been prone to disasters in the past, mainly from stampedes as pilgrims rushed to complete rituals and return home. Hundreds of pilgrims died in such a stampede in 2006. Saudi authorities have since lavished vast sums to expand the main haj sites and improve Mecca's transportation system, in an effort to prevent more disasters. Security services often ring Islam's sacred city with checkpoints and other measures to prevent people arriving for the pilgrimage without authorization. Those procedures, aimed at reducing crowd pressure which can lead to stampedes, fires and other hazards, have been intensified in recent years as security threats grow throughout the Middle East. |

Sungguh worrying lihat mentaliti umat islam apabila perkara ini berlaku perkara yg disebut adalah syahid sedangkan yg patut diperkatakan ialah unsur negligence atau corruption dan penyiasatan perlu dibuat. Tapi ummah melayu seantero malaya sekarang ni sdg sibuk bersyukur dan bertakziah kerana mereka2 ini mati syahid, dijanjikan syurga, husnul khatimah blablaabla |
