It has been told for centuries that the hadith Al-Bukhari and Al-Muslim and Abu Dawood are al realiable and authentic because these hadith were colection of narratives of Mohammed's close alies. But now the Muslims in the 21st century are telling a different story because they fell ashame that a prophet of GOD is labled phidophile. If Hisham bin Urwa was not reliable why did they included his narrative in the hadith? Any smart answer from you? If Hisham bin Urwa was not reliable then the whole of the hadith is a fake and canot be accepted. Looks like Muslims have been living in lies and deception their whole life long.
Either you accept the hadith as the solemn truth or reject all the hadith narration. You cannot say that narration was unreliable or this was authentic. It has bee said in the begining of the hadith that all that had been written was scrutinized and authenticated by various sources and believed to be true but now some smart Muslim says so and so was not reliable because he went to Iraq. That was a stupid move to discredit someone who is not alive to back up his story. So, if Muslims want to reject the word of Hisham bin Urwa than they must reject all others and if they do that thne the syariah too is fake and it would be a shame to use something that was a fake.

Did u read what i wrote ? If Prophet Muhammad did really married a 6 year old girl, his enemies would have known that, but this havent been a issue in the past. What im pointing out here is, the age of aisya is grossly misreported here. Hadiths are based on hearsays its not word of god. Did any hadith got contradiction such as Muhammad did not marry aisya ? NO. But we have hadiths which contradicts aisya's age.
Do you know that child marriage is common till now in india. Did u feel ashamed about that ? |

A news article from The New Straits Times, Malaysia dated 10th of March, 2001 about a nine-year old girl living in northern Thailand giving birth to a baby girl. The fact that a nine-year old girl is mature enough to give birth proves the point about girls reaching puberty earlier than men.

if hadith is merely hearsay, then why do you muslims follow it religiously?
if there was areally a contradiction like you claimed, why did muslims over the last 1000 years correct or delete it?
The truth is, the alledged contradict of aisha's age exists only in your mind and nowhere else. |

Thats a rare case and the fact that it was reported in the papers shows how weird it is.
And Mohd actually committed such weird acts.
This thai girls was lucky, the same cannot be said of Aisha. Poor aisha was destroyed and became barren as a result and developed psychological problems in life. She ended up a widow at 17 and lived under house arrest till she was dead. |

Aisha (R.A) was happy and pleased to be the widows of the Prophet, until she died in her old age. The privillege to be the wife of the Prophet was more than enough for her entire life....
The title of Ummul Mukminin (mother of believers) is for her till the Judgement Day.

Well, there is absolutely no proof to show she was happy as a widow. She was kept under house arrest and wasn't allowed to remarry like other muslim women. How can she possibly be happy? |

What enemies are you talking about. Mohammed made sure there was no one who could oppose him. Those against him, he had ordered them to be excuted so what enemy are you talking about? Go tell that to eastrun and see what he/she says about the hadith being not word of GOD. Show me the hadith which contradicts. Bukhari is supposed to be an authenticated hadith and it says Mohammed married Aysha at age of 6 and consumated at 9. Child marriage in Hinduism is not what you Mulims think as wht Mohammed did. Child marriage in those days were between both children [age can be as young as 5 or 6] are a binding contract between relatives of the groom and bridegroom. A promise made that when they come of age they would be married to each other. It is to protect the inheritance of both sides so that such inheritance does not go outside family of same clan. You Muslims have twisted the fact to proof your point about Mohammed marrying a 6 year old child. If you do not know the fact why bring it up? |

Consumation of marriage is sex. Muslims know that too, there was no other understanding of what it means. Thats why some muslims still take after what Mohd did and married young girls and have sex with them after their first menses because it is considered as ok under islam.
Even if Mohd did not have sex with Aisha like you said, he did married her when she was only 6 years old. |
