resepi yg guna breadcrumbs ni biasanya bnyk yg goreng2 kanyg saya selalu buat chicken shnitzel egyptian style..

2-3 chicken breast (tulang dibuang) dan dileperkan supaya bila goreng masak sekata..
1 bawang besar( diblend taruh ayak sikit supaya senang hancur),
lada hitam
air lemon dlm satu sudu, tak payah letak pun takpe..
garam..

marinate semua..lebih lama perap lebih sedap..biasa saya marinate semalaman..dah tu  esoknya nak goreng celup dlm tepung biasa, then celup pulak dlm telur  baru salut dgn bc tu..make sure api tu jgn besar kalau bc cpt hangus dan ayam tak berapa masak...api sedehana sampai kekuningan gitu.

paling sedap dimakan dgn plain pasta , roast vege , green salad dan poached lebanese eggplant..nanti2 kalau buat saya akan letak sini..inshallah.

Things to do with Bread Crumbs
http://scorpius.spaceports.com/~goodwine/breadcrumb.htm

Shake and Bake
Good for pork or chicken.

Basil
Per 1 cup of dry bread crumbs, add:

1 Tablespoon dry basil
1 teaspoon salt

Basil and Garlic
Per 1 cup of dry bread crumbs, add:

1 Tablespoon dry basil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt

Italian
Per 1 cup of dry bread crumbs, add:

2 tablespoons parsley flakes
1 tablespoon dry basil
2 teaspoons dry rosemary
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon salt

Directions
Combine herbs and crush well, or use powdered herbs. Sift the bread crumbs to remove any large pieces. Stir in remaining ingredients. Store in a tightly sealed container. To use, Put 1/4 cup of crumb mixture into a bag or onto a plate. Shake meat one piece at a time, or roll in crumbs. Discard any leftover crumbs. Add more if needed.

Topping
These mixtures are also good sprinkled on top of casseroles or scalloped potatoes.
Crumb Cookies
These taste just like macaroons. Very easy to make.
Recipe file created January 11, 2000.

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut (long fancy is best)
1 cup dry bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 F. Beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar, coconut and crumbs. Stir well. Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, until they just start to brown.
Jusselle Date
I have had requests for this dish. Use left over filling for a sandwich spread.
Ingredients

1 pound dates, pitted
1 cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoon sweet basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs, hard boiled
1/2 pound cream cheese
Cut dates lengthwise half way through to achieve a 'canoe' shape for filling. Cover with a damp towel and set aside. Mash eggs well. Add basil, salt and crumbs. Mix well. Add cream cheese. Mix well. If mixture is too thick, add a little milk. Place mixture in pastry tube and pipe into each date. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Just for the Halibut
Recipe file created December 3, 1999.
Dianne Killman's recipe. Very tasty.

Ingredients

1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds halibut fillets
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix together bread crumbs, onion soup mix, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Dip fish fillets into sour cream, then into crumb mixture. Coat well. Place on a greased, shallow baking pan. Drizzle melted margarine over the top of the coated fillets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Zucchini Stuffed With Cheese and Shrimp
Recipe file created May 22, 2004.
A delicately flavoured dish suitable as a main course or a side.

Ingredients

4 small zucchini, 6 to 8 inches long
1/4 pound cooked, peeled shrimp
1/2 cup cream cheese
1 Tablespoon onion, chopped fine
1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
1 Tablespoon chopped parsley
2 Tablespoons margarine
Tabasco
Salt
Pepper
Slice ends off each zucchini and cut in half lenghwise. Carefully scoop zucchini flesh out, leaving a thin shell. Chop the flesh coarsely and set aside.

Melt margarine in a frying pan. Add onion. Cook 2 minutes. Add chopped zucchini and cook a further 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shrimp and parsley. Add salt, pepper and tabasco to taste. Stir in the cooked zucchini.

In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs and mozzarella cheese.

Pile zucchini mixture evenly into the zucchini shells. Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture over top.

Bake in 350'F oven for 20 minutes.

Variations
1. Use crabmeat instead of shrimp.

2. Try parmesan cheese instead of mozzarella.

Welsh Sausages
Recipe file created December 13, 1999.
A good snack with mustard, or dipped in pizza sauce. I like to keep a batch in the freezer for emergencies.

Ingredients

1 small onion, chopped fine
1 1/2 cups grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
Separate one egg. Set egg white aside. Combine all remaining ingredients. Shape into small sausages. Lightly beat the egg white. Heat 1/2 inch of oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Roll sausages in some flour, then in egg white and finally in some bread crumbs. Cook a few sausages at a time until they are crisp and golden. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot or cold.
NOTE:

To reheat after freezing, place in a 350 F oven for 20 minutes.

Many Uses for Bread Crumbs
http://www.recipelink.com/msgid/3122551
Collected from Usenet Newsgroup postings

- Use them as breading for your chops. Nothing like fresh, seasoned bread crumbs to enhance the flavor of fried meats. I take 3-day-old French bread, buzz it through my food processor, and put the crumbs in a bowl. I toss in some browned garlic in olive oil, some dried Italian herbs, onion powder, and, salt and pepper, and, voila, I have great bread crumbs to use with your egg wash to make a nice batter. - Baron Blackfang

- Mix spices and grated cheddar cheese (sharp is great) with bread crumbs then dip chicken breasts or pieces in milk wash and coat with the bread crumb mixture. It bakes quite crispy and tasty. I really season them with the simple (oregano/parsley) to the zippier (cayenne/garlic/etc). - Brian & Kelly (bwitty)

- Season your breadcrumbs heavily and include a fair amount of cayenne. Dab good strong mustard onto a lamb rack, dredge in the breadcrumbs and cook at a high temperature in the oven until just rare. - decobabe

- Bread crumbs with a little melted butter or oil in them are a nice addition to noodles or green beans. Without, they are good in green salads. And you can make meatballs with them. I knew a woman who made hamburgers with bread crumbs and egg, like little meat loaves. Or, of course, you can just make little meat loaves in your electric skillet. Mix them with a bit of oil and seasonings and use them to crumb chicken, etc, to saute. I think you can use breadcrumbs to make scalloped tomatoes, too, or mix them with a can of creamed corn and a can of whole corn and bake it with more bread crumbs on top. I love bread crumbs! - Bonita Kale

- Try bread crumbs as stuffing for artichokes. Mix about equally with parmesan cheese, add oregano and/or basil to taste, and slowly add olive oil until completely moist. Core and cut the tips off of an artichoke, take a slice off of the base so that it will sit erect, and put a little of the stuffing under each leaf, adding the remainder to the core. Steam the artichoke or bake over water under low heat for one hour or until tender, then enjoy. When all that is left is the heart, saute it with a little more olive oil and don't share. Yummy! - Maureen O'Danu

- I use bread crumbs as a low fat/vegan alternative to parmesan cheese as a topping on pasta and vegetables. Breadcrumbs add a nice little crunch and touch of flavor.
