Saya tanya soalan ni kat this board and Medical Doctor Online board.
Juz want to make sure about vaseline tu spermicide or not??
kalau guna lubrication as ky jelly-water based rasa susah sikit, tapi oil based such as vaseline lagi senang nak lubricate.
cuma takut kalau vaseline tu act as spermicide and avoid sperm movement, so fertilization doesn't occur.
So, is it vaseline tu spermicide or not??

i'm not sure if vaseline is spermicide or not, but i was once told by a pharmacist mase mule2 kawen dulu to use water-based lubricant eg durex, ky jelly. it avoids the condom from getting torn and easy to wipe off. vaseline on the other hand is petroleum jelly-based. i cannot detail on the pros and cons of the vaseline usage down there. but out of curiosity, wouldn't it be way too icky if you use vaseline as a lubricant? |

...vaseline nie pon is not advisable if u are using condom or diaphragm cos when it gets in contact with latex...it can kind of destroy the latex...
...vaseline also is not a good lubricant becos ianya petroleum or oil based...so...when u used it as a sexual lubricant...it can coat the lining of the vagina...jadi semacam haven for infection...heh... |
