Utility park play... bila kita tarik investor.. apa yang kita akan offer in return dia masuk sini...
Utility & infra park ni is the new offerings by gomen2... mcm pengerang utilities and infra park... dekat muar or mana entah ada announce juga new utilities park utk investor2 masuk setup...
mcm dekat perak ada autocity.. banyak supporting small industries akan masuk utk offer cheaper (close proximity)... another is kulim.. the industrial park yang gomen offer in order for investor sudi masuk.. park play ni kita offer lands, uninterrupted electricity, sufficient water (kena buat dam) sekitar park play tu.. selain dari contract2 gomen as part of offer packages.. supaya di mata investor, FDI itu feasible in their book...
dulu2 kita kasi tax exemption in return of capital investment, tp skang no longer the case (maybe??)
Itu yang aku tanya.. microsoft and google tambah invrstment masuk sini.. in return of that 10 billion (microsoft), tak masuk lg google investment amount..
apa yang carrot kita akan kasi? Ada additional contracts ke apa2 ke

Tanya fahmi...case same dengan elon lah...sedang elon ini miser... Pernah case heshe transfer his AI experts dari neuralink ke twitter untuk tackle bots...tukar field dari research otak ke twitter.. Almost braindead depa....sebab tidak mahu hire new staff yang di fired..
Sebab itu aku tahu depa ini backup bangnon saja |

Aku pernah involved dlm negotiations dengan investor level puluh2 bilion.. a small portion lah yg aku terlibat tu..
Knowing those cash rich companies get the upper hand to cherry pick the "carrots" and how desperate are we in getting their monies, sampai nak forego banyak benda..
Knowing team gomen ni kehausan dan ketandusan negotiators especially dari puak MITI tu... how sure are we able to protect our resources? Kalo hebat negotiation pun, mampu ke diorang control the industries to dengar kata bagi carrots? Masing2 ketegaqqq ok... so MITI kena tough.. rafidah dulu lain.. dia clear and dia tau apa dia nak and dia hands on...
Those big companies & their gomen punya negotiators mcm ular u tahu... of course la our gomen takkan disclose apa kita londeh pada team sana.. |

Nak Google buat satu data center di Malaysia ke? Ia cuma letak server di Malaysia. Bukannya boleh of ...
Now utk benda2 IT ni xboleh harap dah ke company luar. Kita kena train graduates klau hrap ke company luar jd mcm u ckp ni la. Tiba2 department tutup, kena lay off etc. Better secure investment company china kot tgk diaorang r&d mantap. Mgkin boleh belajar sesuatu |

Biasa lah if tiada demand itu tipu lah...but quite different if investors mahu setup yang involved dengan R&D and manufacturing selalu nya high demand dengan gomen sebab patent... Patent akan dapat kepada company ikut location... Ini common issue apabila HQ coba avoid corperate tax dari homecountry...apple pun buat yang sama... Malaysia tax 24%.... Tinggi di banding kan dengan taiwan... Vietnam...thailand ... 20%... Indonesia 22%...but somehow china 25% but cheap manpower and material..singapore 17% flat rate but cost tinggi. So MITI peelu pandai lobby... Ireland paling low di europe... |

Iya.. tax exemption tu zaman tu mmg ramai org kejar.. zaman skang depa nak lebih dari tu.. diorang nak contracts long term, access to resources, competitive advantage dll...
China labor skang dah mahal nak mampus especially the eastern part.. derang import cheap labor dari puak vietnam and west china (tianjin or xinjiang).. resources china no doubt ada banyak abundant.
Tak silap i china byk bukak kilang tech sbb banyak dah patents dah expired... those developed by NASA in 1960s - 1970s |

Negara asean yang tinggi gdp pun majority low corperate tax... China pun ada good policies and sama seperti Philippines tax rate up to 25%... Issue nya sekarang tech providers seperti googles... Microsoft.. Etc.. Ini depa bukan invest untuk manufacturing janji untuk create opportunity white color jobs... Depa tidak hire banyak workers but depa open the doors new skills kepada local gomen and private sectors .. Bachelor /master degree itu min requirement saja... Nanti depa akan training and dapat experience bukan untuk technical bukan HR...kata tiada itu tipo lah.. .. Sekarang ini malaysians AI experts di overseas jangan harap depa mahu balik malaysia sebab gaji tinggi+ tinggi demand+ sentiasa exposed and explore new tools...
Patent ini memang ada expired up to 20 years... Boleh copy selepas expired... Obat lepas patent habis di panggil generic sama saja product lain yang di patent kan...issue depa buat duit sebelum expired... Habis expiration bukan lagi new innovation and murah sebab tidak bayar untuk R&D... Malaysia ada agencies boleh register patent hasil dari MNC R&D untuk ada rights atas patent .... Nasa itu lain cerita depa hanya focus research saja... Tidak manufacture products untuk market.. Yang mahu patent depa perlu tunggu lah habis patent... Nasa products so far aku tahu depa merchandise t shirts... Jackets...etc yang visit nasa centre/museum saja.. |

nasa tak produce product sendiri tp dia bagi patents tu to the companies utk grow.. contoh the polymers fire retardant coatings, laminates masa diorang develop utk space exploration.. banyak company2 besar mcm ICI, Dupont, Kapton..

Banyak opportunity sebenarnya... Tetapi ramai tiada chance untuk explore ...rakyat pula problem with underpaid salary dilemma ter utama nya AI engineering something new ... IPT perlu introduce course AI related.... Mahu harap overseas grad tidak perlu sebab depa tidak grad lagi sudah mahu kerja overseas.... |
