bile senang2 tgk la minimum requirement utk masuk local u ni, dekat buku UPU ke..memana website ke.. just to be sure kan...
*tak kira memana kite antar anak kita..sekolah murah atau mahal, yg penting anak kita bukan saje pandai pelajaran..tp ade jati diri, bijak berkomunikasi, pandai bawa diri dan bijak berfikir ... penat aku tgk budak2 yg bijak pandai ni dpt straight A's tp interview rating C, amik IELTS 2-3 tak lepas2.... sian tau mak ayah sacrifice byk mende nak kasik didikan kat anak2 tp anak2 tu sendiri tak mau betulkan diri sendiri..... camna aku tak bebel, 2 tahun buat pre- u, org suh cakap omputeh ko bantai cakap bahasa kampung ko... lepas tu english tak lepas dah uni reject..salah siapa sekarang?!! |

no prob..
islamic school dekat bangi? tak tau sgt la..sebab blom jumpa website yg listkan semua islamic schools kat kl atau mesia ni...
i mmg jumpa macam2 jenis students.... tp just want to share lah (sementara masih keje sini..tak lama lagi jadi full time housewife).... ade this one boy yg betul2 menyentuh hati i.. i met him twice..sekali mase dia dtg interview... he was punctual, polite, and quiet...unlike the rest terkekek sana terkekek sini puas suh depa diam sket..masuk 5 star hotel tp buat bising macam kat kedai mamak..
then i read his interview profile ..alamat mmg kampung sungguh..fatherpassed way...eldest of 4 siblings.. mak either 'rubber tapper' or 'small-scale farmer'.. then i teringat balik kat dia..no wonder tgn dia byk kesan2 kene gigit nyamuk/agas... i sampai sekarang ingat muka dia
the interviewers tulis comment 'with his background, and such excellent results, we must do whatever we can to secure him a place. ... ade lagi la panjang about his english etc etc"
turned out he passed his IELTS so tak yah susah2 nak repeat2 macam org lain (sekali repeat RM600 melayang tau.. i was even praying biar la dia lepas and moga semua urusan dia dipermudah kan..muka dia mmg belas!)
lepas tu.... i was arranging for students accomodation... dia kene bayar deposit EURO 350 rasenye... time ni mmg biasenye susah nak dpt cepat la bank draft tu, kite inform today, esok lusa or tulat baru dpt..ade yg mak bapak telepon kan "pakcik nak tanya..pakcik nak buat bank draft ni kat bank mana?" -ade ke suruh bapak buatkan??? but this boy....pagi antar email ptg tu dia dah dtg ofis we all utk submit the bank draft! i really salute his attitude... even as i am typing this..i dok teringat kat dia bergenang air mata ni..
i pray that he becomes a good doctor in the future.. and i pray that my kids will have attitude as good as his... aminn...

yup noted.
YEs anak2 kita tak boleh harapkan 100% academic. Mac selalu cakap pada anak2 to be an all rounder,
academic wise, public speaking, sahsiah diri, kepimpinan. Up to their level best lakan.... yg termampu mereka buat.
Infact, everytime masa birthday party anak mac yg std 1, mac suruh dia address budak2 yg datang party tu. Tak boleh refer pada lertas, must be in English. (birthday dia awal tahun, so ramai kanak2 std 1 dia baru nak kenal) Share with her friends about herself. Macam buat speech la. To make it fun for the kids yg mendengar, I suruh mereka pay attention to what my daughter has to say because, I'm going to ask questions and there are presents for those yg dapat jawab.
Itulah pendedahan awal yg mac berikan pada anak2 to be comfortable in public speaking. But then ada antara my anak yg refused, sebab malu. So mac gunakan pendekatan lain la..... |

KYS ni ikut koku Kementerian Pelajaran. Owned by Dato Halim Saad. They would choose 60 students per year to enter this elite and private boarding school. (40 boys 20 girls) Results PMR AND SPM very2 good. Mmg the best in the country. LAst year PMR kalau tak salah sorang aje yg tak dapat straight As. Check out their website.
PEmbayaran ikut kemampuan tak salah mac. Tapi dulu 100% Halim SAad Foundation tanggung. But parents yg VIP digalakkan contribute. Itu yg mac dengar lebih kurang. Tapi lately dgr ceta semua kena bayar, tapi ikut kemampuan. But like I said, mac dengar cerita orang aje ni.
But then ada parents yg takut ada problem dlm kemasukkan ke local Uni after SPM. Walaupun on paper tak ada, kadang2 benda2 ni terjadi jugak. Infact ada a few yg i kenal dapat both SBP and KYS offers, in the end chose SBP.
Dari pemerhatian mac, the school cari budak2 yg speak good English, high confidence level, knows how to play at least one musical intrument and active in sports.
ooo btw, KYS ni utk secondary level aje....

Abang duda setuju dengan delifrance. Kat mana mana pun boleh hantar anak pegi sekolah, mahal or murah. Yg penting attitude anak kita. Parents of coz ada expectation masing masing tp yg penting kalau expectation orang tua tak disambut dgn attitude positive anak anak pun tak guna. Sebab tu yg penting ialah zaman anak anak kecik masa depa masih dlm pelukan kita kita bentuk sikap, sifat, pendedahan, jati diri depa bagi ajar semua nilai murni so bila depa jadi orang pandai depa jadi orang yg lengkap dari segi mental dan pengisian rohani. Faktor ugama ni, tak usah harap kat sekolah aje, kita pun boleh jadik cikgu yg baik kalau kita sendiri tau kekurangan diri kita as parents and later dgn knowledge yg ada boleh depart to them pulak.
Anyway all wonderful info that was put here is highly appreciated. Bukan soal sekolah private mana you all hantar anak you all, tp apa pilhan sekolah yg sesuai utk anak anak bagi ubah depa from no one to some one base on kemampuan parents & kids. |

To me, government schools pun elok. Cuma parents must play a big role dalam pembelajaran anak2 and be involved in school as well. Yes, sekolah mana, mmg tak penting. Tapi environment dan surrounding sekolah itu tetap memainkan peranan.
Some parents prefer anak dia mix with different races. Sebab sekarang ni kalau hantar SK biasa, most of the time pelajar2 dia would be 99% malay. Unless you hantar SK yg in town atau pun dalam perumahan yg ramai nonmalays.
If money is not a problem, I would LOVE for my children to go to Alice Smith. My friend mengajar kat situ, so banyak dapat info dari dia.
But having said that, I am so happy with my girls punya schools and my son punya school. I made the right decision 7 yrs ago. |

dr tadika lagi kene antar ke tadika aliran agama.. sebab sebelum masuk darjah 1 kene ade test bahasa arab la test itu test ini.. dengar cite susah testnya..tak salah parents pon kene interview... coz al amin ni now rating nye tinggi so depa kene jaga la standard dorang...
my kids nye kawan2 taska ramai yg nak masuk al amin (yg cawangan keramat) so dorang masuk tadika amal.. pagi2 cute je tgk pakai tudung kaler biru... my daughter mmg melalak2 nak masuk tadika amal and al amin..dia tak mau masuk smart reader mcm abang dia tp we have not made any decision pon lah.. |

Betul Mac. Apa apa hal pun memang parents & anak anak mesti masuk dlm aliran expectation yg sama baru dua dua boleh materialise kan impian masing masing.
Abang duda pun actually bab anak anak nak pegi sekolah mana ni byk serah kat my wife, dia buat pilihan, abang duda tiap tiap bulan tinggal bayar aje yuran diorang. Kalau tu la satisfaction depa, abang duda pun tumpang happy but i set my condition utk anak anak abang duda yg 3 orang tu sbb abang duda dulu pun asal orang kampung, budak susah, tak pernah langsung jejak kaki kat private school. Tp mikirkan anak anak melalui zaman yg berbeza and kebetulan ada lah sikit duit tabungan, so abang duda pun letak depa kat sekolah yg depa nak masuk, harap harap depa keluar esok berjaya & boleh jadi apa aje yg depa nak. On my part , i dah sacrifice |

dahsyat sungguh sekolah tu nooo, gempak sakan. Muangkin la ni orang kita dah tukar perspektif and dah anggap Islam is a way of life and thats why sekolah berteraskan Islam now dah byk di-komersil-kan. My kids kat sekolah depa pun abang duda suruh depa amik foreign language, yg sulong buat Arabic, yg nombor dua ambik French, yg ketiga belum plan lagi. Biar rumah abang duda jadi reban ayam & itik hehehehehehe abang duda setakat belajar bahasa english ni pun dah syukur sangat delifrance sebab maklum budak kampung mana dulu reti cakap omputih sekali dapat pegi negeri depa terus cakap omputih tak renti renti nasib baik ada gomen malaysia yg sudi taja abang duda study dulu, kalau tak, mungkin abang duda pun tengah noreh getah lagi kot now |
