yayyyy...i'm so hepi that adam was soooo good today...macam last week sumer org kutuk dia kaw2...at least nobody can deny he nailed the second song...
wpun aku memang nak dia nyanyi whole lotta love/black n white, tapi aku paham naper dia pilih mad world...dia nak tone down dia punya performance kan sebab sumer org kutuk dia last week with all the screeching and wailing...and of course sumer cakap mad world was his best dulu.. |

Bet on it: Adam Lambert will be the next `Idol'
By HOWARD COHEN

Viewers had a choice on American Idol's eighth-season final showdown Tuesday night between Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. Or, as host Ryan Seacrest cracked at the onset: ``The guy next door versus the guyliner.''
A vote for Adam, the first Idol male contestant to wear more makeup than judge Paula Abdul, or one for Kris, an able and cute Disney stuffed toy, could historically alter the reputation of a series that had teetered toward stale and predictable for much of its existence.
A victory for Kris continues Idol's penchant for playing it safe and feeding the machine a steady stream of bland and forgettable pop singers. Love him or hate him -- and there appears to be little middle ground -- Adam single-handedly has made Idol interesting again, maybe even relevant.
Neither contestant offered what could be called an outright disaster Tuesday in three performances apiece, although Kris came close.
Idol creator Simon Fuller must be a fan of Adam's because he entrusted the late Marvin Gaye's powerful 1971 social commentary piece, What's Going On, to lil' Kris who took it into the whitebread, beach-bum, acoustic-strumming territory of last year's finalist Jason Castro. Adam offered a history course in soul testifying on his masterful rendition of Sam Cooke's 1965 anthem, A Change Is Gonna Come.
Judge Simon Cowell championed Kris for his pretty, but inconsequential, take on Ain't No Sunshine, but Adam's reprisal of the hauntingly beautiful Mad World induced chills.
Judge Kara DioGuardi cowrote the cacophonous No Boundaries, the Idol tune these Idols, no matter who wins, will shun for the rest of their careers. The song's bombastic high key was probably easier for Adam to power his way through, but those who like their music on the schlock side of pop will probably prefer Kris' more earthbound delivery.
Cowell called it, however, when he all but pronounced Adam the ultimate winner.
``Over the entire season you have been one of the best, most original contestants we've ever had. One thing we hope to find is a worldwide superstar and I think we have found this with you.''

I think for whole lotta love mmg susah dier nak nyanyi balik lagu nih pasal when he performed the other day, the band performing with him was "Slash and friends".............I don't think Ricky Minor & the band can pull off the same effect as "Slash and frens" did.
But yeah.....i really was looking for uptempo song for the opening |
