Date: 19th February 2013, Time: 2.30 am,
Location: A 24-hour convenient store at Kuchai Entrepreneur Park, Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur
The Suspect had gone into the convenient store with the pretext of borrowing a box and a marker pen as his car number plate was spoilt. The female staff who was at the counter unsuspectingly lent him those items.
Shortly, the Suspect came back into the store to return the items. At that instance too, he pointed a gun at the female staff and demanded her to give him the store's earnings. Out of fear, she gave him RM 74.45. He then went off in a car.
From investigations, the police crime department of KL has identified the Suspect. His profile and modus operandi also matches other similar armed robbery incidents. The Suspect will be charged under the Firearm Act and Penal Code.
