alja.. that concept is so interesting
n i thin more beneficial sebab dia incorporate the knowledge
not just some 'malaysian-schooling' skills ekeke
this type of knowledge that will spare our little ones' life besook2 kan
n at the same time, it encourage the interest to learn more

i believe some parents actually did that, maybe without they realizing it, cam tina la
just nak share, dulu masa i kekecik, my mom encourage us to tell our own stories
at first whe will read us stories
but then she asked us to come out with our own
nk lagi senang, use books with big pictures, and less words
i think this will help buil the creativity

ermm...btol tu nur, typical system kat melaya nie menyedihkan

my objectif dgn anak2 to set-up the inquisitive mind, dun take things as what it is...sampai bila2 kita lebih suka bertindak tanpa berfikir...

cam baja plak, now dah nampak hasilnya...my son is a deep thinker, dia takleh ambik benda at the surface...susah?..memang susah tapi nie yg mak dia nak kannn ...

too much thinking without an action...tak guna gakkan...wakakakak

is all about balancing in life

a'ah...teringat masa my son memula masuk pre-school

dia bawak balik buku yg bergambar tanpa sebarang huruf, me hairan gak mula2..bila sembang dgn cikgu kita paham matlamat dia lain drp sekolah2 kita....

dia nak anak2 reka cipta sendiri cerita berdasarkan gambar2 yg diberikan...creative mind applied here, menakjubkan cara anak2 berfikir...

to think bout it.. my mum actually never masuk sek men pon..
that's why i really impressed the way she raise her kids
n make me think - aku yg more educated than her patutnya can do much better??

that's why - scoring 20 A's in school doesnt guarantee you much
isnt it?

yeah ...do agree with you

dan me rasa terpulang apa yg kita hadapkan depan depa....cepat atau lambat, ikut pd kelebihan anak2 tu jugak..

kebolehan membaca A,B,C dlm usia muda.. ...

hehehe.. btul la tu, ank kejora baru sorg. mmg excited sgt la bila apa yg kita ajar, apa yg dia tgk blh buat dia ingt & kenal..
tp ada byk lg yg perlu dia blaja lg. insyaAllah, kejora + hubby akan ajar slow

to me scoring A's is important but at which subject yg you score la. no point scoring A's at subject when you yourself tak sure what you want to do or which uni you want to go to

if you dah set dari awal what you want to do and which uni you want to go to, at least you know what to aim.

yes, nowadays mmg those with degress pun ada problem with finding job. but you kena gak tanya, what degree are they holding, from which uni and how well did they do?

coz in the end, in the working world.... a professional degree or professional cert will determine whether you are suitable for that increment or promotion....

i bet to differ sis...those degrees just for u to get a place for interview

professional or not, is not determine by the cert. u have...but ur attitude!....performance bonus is also determine by ur attitude at work...(my opinion)

just to remind you allss..
never underestimate childs' ability..

i tak byk pengalaman jaga budak
cuma ada adik n anak baru sorang
anak buah dok jauh jadi masa derang membesar tak byk i can learn
but fr my sister n my doter i mmg nmpk toddlers as young as 8 mth gitu, esp when they start to socialize wif ppl, derang akan mula faham the speking language
at first i tak expect they to understand apa yg i ckp, sebab i talk to them like i talk to adult
but suprisingly they do! even tho masa tu they blom buleh ckp lg

of course getting as many A as possb is no less important
because that will get you somewhere, at least here in msia..

but i tanak la (i hope) jadi mommy yg tooo kiasu about that
sampai push anak2 to study terok2, tuition here n there etc just to be 'smarter' than my friends/neighbour's child
or keep comparing them with others (but i believe it can be done in positive way, anyway)
of course i'l be proud if my kids are considered genius

to me, every child is smart, in their own special way i supposed
its up  to us to foster them in the right way

welll yes, attitude is important.....

but if degrees and certs are not important, y have them in the first place? y do we even bother to study when we could just have the right attitude?

i believe if you want to be in a professional job let say an engineer, a doctor, or an accountant, you need not only the right attitude but the qualifications.

you r rite sis...get those A's is part of the requirement to be professional...i didn't say hv degrees is not important, but having all A's and professional cert. doesn't mean that u r professional...

professional on papers doesn't show that u r peofessional in ur thiking in ur attitude...thou ramai claim they r professional sebab ada cert. bagai...

nie my personal opinion ajelah yea...holding more A's in our education system is merely justification of ur brain domination....
