Sir Alex Ferguson admitted his side were disappointed with their performance today despite beating Hull City 4-3 at Old Trafford.
“The deciding factor may have been when Michael Carrick was brought down on the edge of the box and [Michael Turner] didn’t get a booking,” explained the United manager, “He’d already been booked so the referee failed in his duty there. It should have been a red card because he was right through. Even a yellow card and the player would have been off.”

Newspaper reports indicate that Manchester United will offer Cristiano Ronaldo a sizeable pay-rise during the summer in an attempt to keep him at the club...
According to the News of the World, United will tear up Ronaldo's current £120,000-per-week contract - which has more than three years remaining - in favour of a new £150,000-per-week deal.
That would make the Portuguese superstar the best-paid player in the history of the Premier League. It would also severely dent Real Madrid's hopes of landing their top target.
"Next summer will be a key element of his contract situation — he will have three years left then," said Sir Alex Ferguson.
The prospect of stopping Madrid president Ramon Calderon from delivering on his promise of bringing Ronaldo to the Bernabeu would doubly delight Sir Alex Ferguson, as the pair have been involved in a word-war through the press over the last week or so.
"There is no question of Ronaldo leaving," the United manager continued.
"Calderon promised everyone they would get the lad in the summer. There was a complete arrogance about it. So I was delighted Ronaldo stayed."
However, there remains a remote possibility that Ronaldo could turn down the new deal and exploit FIFA Article 17, which allows him to buy out his current contract at the end of next season.
But Ferguson added: "Nobody (at Manchester United) has ever bought himself out of his contract. I don’t think it will be an issue."

"We created so many chances and played some extremely good football. But we shot ourselves in the foot with a few errors and they took theirchances.
game semalam awal2 lg aku dah tgk rio n vida ade prob dr segi form..
berape kali rio miss tanduk bola tinggi n then vida berape kali die miss man marking kat King.. :@
second half nampk hancur dgn eksperimen tok alex mencuba gandingan teves-rooney-CR-berba... lum nmpk hasil yg memuaskan lg..
ref pon nmpk agak lembut hati time mane ade player M.U kena tackle still game on n then penalti yg patut leh dpt pon xde.. penalty n gol ke 3 tu patut x dilayan tp nmpk obvious bile dua2 player rebut bola n terjatuh wlpon contact xde r sgt..
ermm.. peliknye nape semalam just play long pass n threw dr bawah jer kurang variasi n posision maybe diorg nak main laju n high tempo but nmpk slow defensive time kejar bola hilang..
